"Came here for a late lunch/early dinner. As the timing was a bit off I thought I might be disappointed but nooo! Upon arrival you notice this is an older establishment but homey all the same. We each ordered margaritas. Hubs ordered the blended strawberry and I ordered the skinny on the rocks, extra lime. We ordered entrees at same time as drinks as we were starving. Drinks arrived within minutes of hearing the blender working its magic. While we were both enjoying our drinks our food had arrived. Eric had the cheese crisp with carne asada and I had the quesadilla José with shrimp. The cheese crisp had guacamole on the side and my entree had sour cream on the side. Both entrees were delicious, lots of shrimp in the quesadilla and plenty of cheese, the crisp was nice and crispy and plenty of carne asada marinated to perfection, nice and tender. The service was quick and efficient and all staff were came in to contact with seemed cheerful. We will be back to try other menu options."

"I made reservations on line. It asked on the form if it was a special dinner. I wrote and said it was our 52 wedding anniversary that very day. I made the reservation for 5pm because it is always so noisy from the bar area. The dinner was fine and service good. We have eaten there many times. I actually thought they would bring a dessert we could share since it was a special day for us. We were not offered a dessert or even a happy anniversary comment. I mentioned to the female at the door about the day being our anniversary 2-24 GALLO and she said she would ask the waiter to bring us a dessert. I told her it was to late. I have recommended the place but also tell people about the loudness of the area. Always to loud. Suggest you carpet the place."

"Terrible service! I ordered takeout. Just a drink and salmon burger; 1st time ordering this item. Waited over 25 minutes to receive. I noticed two couples that ordered after me, received their order before mine, and were dining in. They had appetizers, the whole deal! I asked the person behind the counter what was taking so long with my order compared to the couples because I didn 't want to assume.He gave some poor excuse that theirs was easier. It didn 't add up. I really thought this salmon burger was going to be some masterpiece. Just like the service, I was sadly disappointed. I received a plain bun, the salmon, and some, I guess, special slaw on the side, and that was it; nothing else. The bun wasn 't even toasted. I asked for it to be cut; it didn 't happen. What took so long for that??? I 'm baffled. Unfortunately, that was my third time trying this place and second experience of bad service. I won 't be returning."

"I have ordered from this restaurant a few times and the food has always been good. However, my recent order of pineapple fried rice was extremely disappointing and I feel the need to write this review. As soon as I opened the container, a strong smell hit me and the taste of curry powder was overpowering. When I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction, they showed no concern for my experience. I would advise others to think twice before ordering the pineapple fried rice, or perhaps it should be renamed curry powder rice."

"This place has been resurrected to its old glory from nearly 40 years ago. When Nacer owned it in the late '80s and early '90s, this place was phenomenal. Then, the Moghadam family ran it into the ground with the food being so horrid that I didn 't come back for decades. Then, I tried it again recently while I was in the neighborhood, and it was very good!The young staff were very kind and helpful, and the ambiance was nicely decorated and clean. Also, the addition of the garlic sauce was a nice accoutrement to the tasty Mediterranean fare. The rice pilaf, gyros, tzatziki all have been improved and restored to the level that this restaurant used to be nearly 40 years ago. Well done, Maroun!"
