"It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!"

Truly Authentic Turkish Food served with traditional warm Turkish Hospitality. Very large menu which can accommodate any appetite or food tolerances. Owner is incredibly friendly. You have to try this place and it's a great value.

We have eaten here many times. Salmon is always great and so is the tuna tartare. The smoky groats and the cous cous are divine! They used to have delicious rolls that they served with olive oil. I was sad to see that they no longer offered them.
