"My wife and I ate a late lunch at 19 Degrees North in Dahlonega, GA, last Sunday. This is a seafood restaurant with a very good menu and some excellent recipes. We chose items from the appetizers including fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, oysters on the half shell, and Oysters Rockefeller. The fried green tomatoes were tasty and well cooked. The crab cakes were really good and included what looked like a corn relish. May not be an accurate description but I highly recommend them. The raw oysters were enormous compared to many seafood restaurants in Charlotte, NC. Its been a long time since we had good sized oysters?.and they were delicious! We also had a small order of the Oysters Rockefeller. Noy exactly the original recipe but a wonderful version of this dish. Thoroughly enjoyed them, too. The drink menu had some very good choices. We were lucky and sat upstairs on an outdoor patio, overlooking the square. This would be a fantastic place to eat a meal in the warmer months and was very comfortable on the day that we were there."

The best green I ever had! Maple brussels, lemon bread and its green beans. So amazing! Mango salsa was 5 stars. Very recommended.

During our visit to Dahlonega, my husband, parents, and I decided to try out this restaurant. The service was pleasant, but the food was mediocre. It wasn't terrible, but it also didn't stand out as anything special.

We ordered the flatbread with the dip. It was very salty. I had the bisque and Gouda grits. Again, the soup was very salty but since the grits were almost unsalted mixing them made them ok. Hubby had the salmon burger and it was just ok. Not really worth the money spent but our waitress was very attentive.

During our weekend trip, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We had an amazing dining experience! I ordered shrimp and crab penne with a tasty caesar salad. The food was exceptional, and our server Lily was fantastic! She greeted us warmly, was attentive, and knew the menu well, making our meal even more enjoyable. Overall, excellent service and delicious food. We highly recommend this place! View menu

Excellent seafood for the mountains of North Georgia! I have enjoyed each meal that I have had here very much. The first few times they were out of oysters which was kind of a bummer but I got the seared tuna appetizer and it was excellent. Today I had a Moscow mule, oysters on the half shell, a mojito, and the red grouper imperial. I got a piece of key lime pie to go. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. I sat at the bar.

I brought my family to this establishment because of Google 4.5 star reviews. 5 out of 7 dishes ordered were mediocre at best. My wife and I shared a seafood platter. The fish was literally raw and cold on the inside, we found out by eating a bite. The second piece of fish brought to us was good. The oysters were very hard and we couldn’t eat but a couple, they had a bad taste. I’m not sure which of the seafood options we tried made us sick but my wife can’t even get out of bed today, our last day on vacation by the way. I’m feeling better but she isn’t. I’m not leaving this review to bash the restaurant, the ambiance and service was good. I’m merely leaving this for others to be aware of wh...

We stopped by for some appetizers and are SO GLAD we did. We ordered Bourbon Bacon Butter Baked Oysters, coconut shrimp, mussels, crab bisque, clam chowder, and a mac'n'cheese kids meal. (Living in Savannah, we enjoy seafood often. Each item was unique and delicious, with no frozen prepackaged nonsense here. The soups were each a thinner consistency than others I've had, BUT the flavors were near the best I've ever had. Also, they each had plenty of seafood. The Oysters being baked was intriguing and yummy! The coconut shrimp had a deep golden, crunchy coconut outside while maintaining a juicy perfectly cooked inside. The tangy sauce that accompanied them was also very good. The mussels with... View menu

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant on July 30, 2023. The service was incredibly slow, even though there were few people in the restaurant. The wine list was misleading, as they only had one and a half glasses of Pinot left and charged us $9 for a small glass that was only one-third full. They offered a substitute for $12 per glass without informing us, and it was also only one-third full. Our waiter was involved in a dispute with another table, causing a delay in taking our order. Other servers and possibly the manager ignored us as they walked by. There was no bread offered, no salt and pepper on the table, and the cutlery was wrapped in a cheap paper napkin. Our main course was br...

Stopped in today to sample some of the food available in the area . Greeted on the porch and promptly seated inside downstairs. I understand there is a bar upstairs. We ordered the pork belly tacos and I ordered the j chicken sandwich. The tacos looked delicious and fresh. My j chicken sandwich on the other hand looked marvelous but was not. The chicken was overcooked and dry and had zero j chicken flavor. There was some yellow sauce remnants on the top bun with 1 piece of bacon cut in half, one small tomato, a little lettuce , then a slice of cheese. If the chicken would have been hot during assembly it may have melted, but it was not. The fries were what I could finish. After voicing my di...
