"We stayed at the resort and this was considered the upscale restaurant. There was no music or much of an ambiance in the restaurant. Halibut, ribeye were good, the mushrooms ravioli was pretty good but a small portion. Slow service and seating. Dinner was okay it was the breakfast we had an issue with. Our package was supposed to include breakfast. They told us the menu was closed and only buffet was open. The food in the buffet was limited and not good at all. Crepes seemed old, not fresh, not much taste, French toast was super thin. They charged us $3/each for coffee that was diner out of the pot coffee, nothing special and not good. Then charged for juice, which is fine but I’ve never had a breakfast buffet that didn’t include drinks. The hotel voucher only covered a portion so we had to pay an additional $11 for our free breakfast. We were disappointed and we won’t be going back."

The food and ambiance was outstanding. It was a little confusing finding their location in the basement of the resort however. Overall it was wonderful experience.

Clearly understaffed for this time of year. Waited for a long time to be seated with a reservation (even though tables were wide open) and then waited another 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table. Had to request them to come or we would have still been waiting.

Food was great. My only problem is that the menu on open table doesn’t match restaurant menu. I had already decided what to have but was disappointed to find the restaurant menu drastically different from what was shown on open table. Also the tiramisu was frozen. Pretty sure it’s not supposed to be.

Be aware- if you order an omelet or eggs, they are served on a metal bowl/platter. My husband tasted one bite of his breakfast and all he could taste was metal. I could actually smell the bowl from where I was sitting next to him. Our server said she’d never gotten feedback before about the bowls- which I find hard to believe- so either we got the one bowl that was leaching metal, or it’s a bigger issue than they realize. We ordered food for two adults and one child, and it took NINETY MINUTES for the food to arrive. It was not a busy night at the restaurant. The server was nice enough to comp a round of drinks, however it is totally bonkers to wait an hour and a half to get food. Not even the bowl of soup my husband ordered. Meanwhile, my 7 year old had to sit at a table for all of that time with a piece of paper and a crayon. Nightmare all around for everyone.

The mid elder waitress with a gimp took 15 mins to come over to us to bring water and forgot the lemon we asked for after that. Asked if we could sub the side of mushrooms with the filet steak for another side since all the sides are the same extract price, she immediately said NO, and then said I will check with manager. Was gone for 20 mins came back and said you ready, completely disregarded our question she was supposed to go find out.
