"Been to many Hawaiian joints here in the mainland, and 808 grinds is by far the best I've been to! Not even L&L can compare I must say I felt they out did the local vibe as if you were in Hawaii. The price for plates are reasonable with great portion size. I had the combo 11 and Saimin. Ate them both not because I was hungry! : it was that good! I don't eat a lot of pork but the Kalua pork was so tasty I scraped my plate with this one."

We enjoyed lunch here on a Saturday at 2 pm. We ate inside the restaurant and it was not crowded. You order at the register and clean up after yourself. The food was very good. And we tried a couple of the Hawaiian cakes for dessert. Very yummy! There weremany people coming in and getting orders to go. Bustling restaurant!

Best poke I have ever had! Tried rainbow salmon (came with avocado slices) and furikake tuna that was so deep and rich. Also loved the macadamia crusted, roasted cauliflower and shitake mushrooms! All of the sauces are well balanced- they?re not stingy with them. Everyone is friendly and laid back. Ordered to go and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend this place!
