"This was my husband and Is first time here and after reading some of the other reviews I?m surprised. When we first arrived we were the only ones there and they sat us by the window, the view was great. I started off with a Manhattan and it was fabulous. They give you complementary bread and we found ours to be tasteless, very hard stale (but my husband ate it anyway). We hadthe crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and the dish is kind of perplexing. It comes out in an escargot baking dish so theyare hotter than the surface of the sun when you try to take a bite. I didn?t taste any mushroom or crab just a bunch of cheeseon top of what might have been a mushroom slice. Not my fave. My husband and I shared a surf turf and it was actually a lotbetter than it looked so we were very happy. We decided to drink our dessert(s) and were very fond of all. Our waitress waswonderful! My husband is a talker and she had no problem keeping up a conversation with us while also providing quick andexcellent service. And do I even have to mention the decor? It?s epic."

Food was bland. Noticed that the salt and pepper on the table were used a lot.

Good food we enjoyed the service and it was very comforting to sit by the fireplace on a chilly night.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! The food was dry and tasteless. The items that were stated for brunch were not available. Even the waffles were not good and that is hard to mess up. The bottomless mimosas however were great. Our waitress was AWESOME.

It was a nice place. It could use some cleanup and iron tables linens. Our server was not personable. Her customer service skills is limited. She did not offer us to see the desert menu nor did she offer us a salad. The mashed potatoes was good and the salmon was ok. View menu

We were looking forward to going here and unfortunately were quite disappointed. The potato skins and crab stuffed mushrooms were great. The shrimp cocktail was awful. As for the filet, scampi, prime rib and baked potato, don't waste your money Not one steak was cooked properly and one medium steak was so burnt you couldn't cut through it with a steak knife. Wish I would have had the shrimp cocktail before I ordered because I wouldn't have added the scampi to my filet. Do yourself a favor and go to any other steak or seafood place in Columbus before you waste your time and money here.

This was a trip down memory lane for us, as we had experienced the Aero Squadron for the first time years ago when my husband and I had first met. We returned as a birthday celebration, that fell just a bit short. I made the reservation mentioning that we were celebrating a birthday, but there was no mention of the celebration which made the experience a bit disappointing. We arrived for our scheduled reservation and were not greeted, no one was at the hostess desk for several minutes. Waitress was very attentive after this, food was good, hot, but not something I would drive hours to experience again. Neat place to experience, if you've never been there before. But seems to be in need of a...

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
