"Alongside the short ribs, I opted for a side of pasta. The ziti, topped with a fresh marinara sauce, was a delight. It was cooked to perfection—just the right amount of al dente. The short ribs were served with spinach, which had absorbed all the flavorful juices from the meat; it was cooked just right. I also tried the fried calamari, which was quite good. It came with two generous lemon slices and a nice portion of marinara sauce for dipping. Additionally, I ordered a kids' pizza that was a decent size, cut into four equal slices, and it was quickly devoured by the little ones. I stole a bite, and it was freshly made and delicious. When I arrived to pick up my order, everything was ready, and the staff checked on the kids' pizza to ensure it was good to go. Just a minute later, I was handed a brown bag with my meals and the pizza box, and off I went. Parking can be a bit tricky, but I managed to find a metered spot almost directly across the street. The ambiance felt like an old-school Italian red sauce joint, featuring black-and-white photos of Sophia Loren and other famous Italian scenes on the walls. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I didn't dine in, so I can't comment on the service, but in any case, I give it two enthusiastic thumbs up! Buona appetito!"

It's very much like a lollipop it sucks!!! There's no indication that the store sells throwback material to the public

Order a Large Margarita style pizza, calamari Best of the Bronx reviewed and sodas. The food was not on par with the cost. Everything left much to be desired especially in terms of flavors. The pizza sauce was plain and the crust was doughy. The calamari was oily, and worst the oil was old and disgusting. View menu

I visited on a Sunday evening, and the ambiance was delightful and relaxing. The service was quick and highly professional. We shared a margarita pizza and fried calamari, finishing off with an amazing Nutella pie! I also had a couple of espresso martinis, which were delicious and rich in flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Terrible experience! After waiting nearly an hour past the scheduled delivery time, the food arrived cold. Let's start with the pizza: it was burnt, and only half of it had the pepperoni I paid for. Additionally, none of my requests were fulfilled—no crushed pepper or cheese were included. I've had better pizza from Little Caesars. The alfredo was bland, lacked cheese, and had a soupy consistency, while the noodles were undercooked and extremely hard. Without a doubt, this is the worst meal I've had from an Italian restaurant.

Date Ordered: 2/17 Pros: They honored my special request and the food was delivered quickly. Cons: Everything looked great, so my family eagerly dug in. However, a few bites in, we discovered that the calamari was drenched in oil and had a chewy texture. It was clear that the oil used was old, as it tasted like it had been fried all week. We also ordered a large Margarita pizza, but the sauce was very bland. Even with my request for extra basil and extra cheese, it still fell flat. Overall, I was left feeling sad and disappointed. Been going to this restaurant since I was a child. If you really want home made Italian food, this place is the place for it. The servers really catered to the customer and they give suggestions, especially if you are new to the resturant. The ambiance is very comfortable, and you can tell by the different customers visiting, some are long time customers or just coming from the Zoo or Botanical Garden. I usually love their speciality pastas, especially if it's the mushroom ravioli that sometimes alternate in their special orders menu.

"I have ordered delivery twice from this place. Both times the food came well packed and without any spills. I also wasn't missing any items. The first time i ordered a shrimp egg roll, wonton egg drop soup, three regular roll special, general tso's chicken combo dinner and orange chicken combo dinner. The shrimp egg roll is absolutely delicious. I would order that over and over again. The wonton egg drop soup is not that great. I wouldn't order it again. The wonton's themselves are really thick. For the rolls i ordered the crunchy spicy kani roll, the spicy crunch shrimp and the shrimp tempura roll. All three were absolutely delicious and filling. Both the general tso's and orange chicken had great flavor but by the time it arrived, it wasn't crispy anymore. I tried to recrisp it in the toaster oven and that didn't work. The second time i ordered fried dumplings, the grasshopper roll, kai roll, shrimp tempura roll, sweetheart roll and stir fried udon with beef. The fried dumplings tasted exactly like the wonton's i had in my soup during my first order. The dumpling skin was too thick and the beef looked and tasted the exact same way as the wontons. I wasn't crazy about them. The grasshopper roll i would order every single time, it was lobster salad, crab meat, shrimp, mango, avocado, asparagus, lettuce wrap, rice paper with avocado and caviar in yuzu wasabi sauce. The lettuce did get a little wilted during transit but it didnt impact the flavor at all. Very delish. The kai roll has spicy tuna, avocado and shrimp tempura inside a green soy paper. The outside has lobster salad and caviar. Another roll that i would order again. Very Very good. My husband ordered the sweet heart roll which was really pretty. Inside it has crab meat, cucumber, avocado, spicy tuna and crunchh wrapped in a pink rice paper topped with raw fresh tuna. I tried it and the tuna was very fresh. This roll is absolutely delicious but should only be ordered if your into raw fish. You can definitely taste it. Lastly, the beef udon. The sauce was very light BUT the flavor was there 100 percent. So delicous, so filling, so flavorful. I think we will certainly be ordering this specific dish again soon. It was that good. Overall we were so much happier with our second order from here. I think going forward we will continue to try different rolls and dishes from the stir fry section. I will absolutely continue to order from this place. i highly recommend it."
