Last night we went to Ariete with high expectations due to all the comments we read. I have been lucky enough to experience several Michelin restaurants in various cities around the world, and honestly, Ariete is good food but it is not at a wow level for the price you pay. Had an unplanned evening free in Miami and treated myself to dinner at Ariete. Superb, creative food; attentive service; warm and cozy ambiance. The oysters with bone marrow butter were plate-licking-worthy. The sommelier, Freya, was both knowledgeable and passionate, as well as a pleasure to chat with. Highly recommend. The dishes showcased the head chef’s Cuban-American roots blended with his French culinary training, creating flavors that are beyond words. You really have to taste them for yourself to appreciate the depth of flavor. I regret not taking pictures of the desserts because they looked so irresistible that we dove right in. They were all a delight, bursting with exquisite flavors. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about Ariete, and I’m thrilled I finally had the chance to enjoy dinner there! The restaurant’s cozy and romantic atmosphere is the perfect backdrop for the delicious meal that awaits. This was definitely one of the best food experiences I ever had. It was a celebration and we decided to go with a 4 course menu for $125 per person. Initially we thought it would not be enough food but at the end of the meal we were completely full. We tried many different dishes since everyone on the table was ordering something different. My favorites were the FOIE GRAS with sour orange temptation caramel, plantain pave and cocoa nibs; and the PASTRAMI STYLE SHORT RIB with red pepper-beef jus, gem and fennel caesar, oyster short rib croquette.
