"Came recommended from a wedding venue for their catering. So we swung in tonight to do a little taste test. First the folks running this place are great! Ultra friendly and bonus for standing strong and closing on Sundays where their employees don't have to miss church. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork take your pick. However best bite of the night was bbq beans. Pork was a mild smoke, little less than I usually want, but good. Brisket was well seasoned with choice of tip or flat. Ribs were perfectly cooked where each bite came off the bone cleanly without completely falling off."

This is a great little restaurant. They have delicious food (burgers and bbq are my favs). The people who work there are kind and the service is great. This place is a hidden jewel. Give them a try.

Not a fair review didn't try BBQ I've had the Burger twice. Excellent food. Do Not like the fact they give you a bag of chips with a Fresh Hamburger but.... Other then that inside a bit tight, helpful people service is great. View menu

Fantastic BBQ! A must try is the BBQ Nachos, chicken or pork, unbelievably addictive! The chicken nachos were so good I went back the next night to try the pork, both great but I liked the chicken best. Memphis is their House Special BBQ Sauce and it's heavenly!

Live literally less than 5 min away, so I get to eat here more often than others. I've seriously never had anything bad from here. The pulled chicken/pulled pork and brisket are my favorites. Wether it's a sandwich, platter, or nachos. Fricken great, highly recommended to any bbq fan.

So disappointed in the food my favorite food is bbq so I was excited to eat here we came in on a Saturday. And we was the only ones there I got the BBQ and chicken platter and the food wasn't hot what so ever I know pulled pork is some pink but it was mostly pink even the chicken had alot of pink. And to top that off I looked at my drink it had black specs of something floating in it after I noticed that we just left. View menu

Found this place out of the blue. Stopped in for a birthday BBQ lunch.We were NOT disappointed! The ribs tender and just the right amount of smokey. Amazing flavor!The service was beyond friendly. Everyone there seemed happy to be there and happy to chat with all of the customers.The prices are more than fair for the quantity and quality of food. You couldn't eat this well at any chain place for this price.We will DEFINITELY be back if/when in the Kingsport area again.I would HIGHLY recommend Bare Bones BBQ.
