"the best place to eat sushi in fenway. it is my cozy restaurant and we went on a Saturday night. the tables are at a distance so that they do not empty the table next to them, and eating is amazing. for a packed Saturday night, the service was initially somewhat slow to get our main course, but drinks and apps came on time. highly recommended!"

fine Japanese food. bar is also great, although they have to hold a bartender behind the bar. that wait between the round is long.

I haven't been to Basho in years, but was sorry to see it's declined quite a bit—torn carpet, worn upholstery, and oddly dark for the middle of the day. The food was fine.

Delicious Japanese cuisine near Fenway! Had several sushi rolls, delivered on a boat for our group. Fantastic service spent 3 hours until we couldn't eat anymore.Food: 5/5 View menu

All of our food came at once even though we ordered appetizers, then soup and salad, and then rolls. Also, I tried to get another drink and some more wasabi but the waiter didn’t check back for over 15 minutes by which time we were done eating. Location was convenient and reservations made it safe to show up and be seated.

Honestly a solid sushi spot, however we encountered difficulty with the bathroom setup. The sink instructions were unclear and the metal toilets were off-putting. The only thing worse than that was the pressure washer atomic sound that went off when they flushed. Food was good, waiter was very passionate about filling my water.Food: 4/5

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
