"Is Beef Villa located on Dundee in Elgin also ran by Mexicans? Stopped in to pick up dinner. Italian beefs cost $5.00 on Tuesdays starting at 4:00. Got there three minutes before, the guy made me wait until 5:00 on the dot. I ask for cheese fries, he gave me regular fries. When I asked him about it. He said I could get cheese on the side for 65cents. I will never go back there again. He was down right racist and rude!"

Chicago-style Hot dogs are good. Italian beef is delicious! Be sure to get a large cheese fry! Gyros and cheeseburgers are good as well. Food is delicious and friendly service.

The Italian beef sandwiches are fantastic! They've consistently been excellent over the years. The juicy beef is definitely the highlight, and the servings of fries are quite generous. View menu

The food was just alright—nothing special. However, the service was excellent, and the bathroom was clean and warm. I did find the broasted fried chicken to be lacking in seasoning, though.

My sandwich took a long time to arrive, and it wasn't as moist as I requested. It seems like this place is always understaffed; orders take forever, and the restaurant is not very clean. I only noticed two employees working.

Do NOT go here for Gyros. The staff does not follow directions well. I asked for no tomatoes, and of course there were tomatoes. Perhaps 1 piece of onion made it inside. Scant amount of Gyros meat. It's definitely not worth it any way you look at it. View menu

I have been going here for 20 years. Normally the food is okay, but today I had the worst chicken ceaser salad from here. The chicken was very over cooked and burnt in spots. It was so over cooked it had a layer of hard chicken. They put too much dressing on the salad. There was enough dressing on it for 5 salads.

Bought 2 hamburgers and a pizza puff yesterday. Not only did it cost $17, the hamburgers were awful! The $6 quarter pound burger was undercooked, tasteless, and no bigger than a McDonald 's hamburger for 3 times the price! The pizza puff, one of my fave fast foods, was also undercooked. With prices as they are, we don 't treat ourselves too often. This was a complete disappointment. Would not recommend Beef Villa!!!

"It was my first at Sweet Berry. I had the cold plate (tuna salad, chicken salad, slaw, avocado and cottage cheese on lettuce). I also ordered a side of corned beef hash and multigrain toast. I wish I knew how great the food was here. I always hesitated as I didn’t want the usual. The avocado had a little brown on it but everything on the “plate” was great. The corned beef hash was a little salty but I still finished it haha. It was good on the lettuce lol. The toast was a little burned but my, the jam that came with it makes me think it’s homemade. It’s delish. The serving portion’s enough for the price I paid. It was a lot…but addicting. Haha What’s impressive is that the moment you come in, it feels like there is a viral smile going around. Everyone ‘s just smiling and it felt great especially in the morning. I also noticed they have a lot of options for those who have dietary restrictions. Fab! That’s why I’m coming back. I’ve been wanting those french toasts and crepes and those benedicts and skillets. Yum."

"The atmosphere and service was the perfect accompaniment to the outstanding food. The carrot bisque soup was silky smooth with the grilled bread warm and toasted. The schnitzel and spaetzle was the best I have ever had and my waitress tied the experience all together perfectly. Cannot say enough good about this little gem. "Been coming here for over 15 years. Probably no more. Expecting no crowd since it was minus 5 out, with a 30 mph wind. I was correct, no one waiting, and 2 hibachi tables prepped and open. Was told an hour wait. So we went to the sushi bar. First 30 minutes, 2 tables remained open. then some guests were shown and seated. A few minutes later , 2 table left, and now 3 were open. Our entire time there, 2 tables were always open. At the sushi bar, soup and salad immediately. barely a chance to try the salad, the fried rice came. Almost right after, the entrée. Table was completely covered with bowls and dishes. Not sure how long the food was sitting in the back, because I've watched how long it takes to grill. Rice and vegetables were cold. Shrimp was cold, and the filet was raw. Mushrooms? I scrapped my plate in search of, found 3 slim slivers, when piled on each other, wouldn't have made half a mushroom. Vegetables looked like they were leftovers from another table. The experience and food was terrible. Not why you go to a hibachi grill. When I explained my experience to the manager when we left, he stood there like a bobble head. In the past, not a lot of options. And we are loyal to a good service and good food. Now, there are other options to go."

"We ordered sandwiches for an office lunch today and placed the order yesterday, ensuring to include a phone number. We paid with a credit card. When we arrived to pick up the order today, nothing was ready. The staff claimed they didn’t realize it was for today, despite this being clearly stated on the order sheet. A quick call to confirm would have been courteous if there was any uncertainty. After that, they hurriedly prepared the food, but two of the orders were incorrect—two people received salads instead of their sandwiches. Additionally, one sandwich that was supposed to be toasted wasn’t, and the portion sizes were on the small side. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place."

"When the restaurant open a few years ago they really tried and the food was amazing! I went back after a year and the flavors weren’t there. I ordered a pho and I had to try everything they had in there to flavor it up. I asked for some sugar and was given salt, needles to say the pho was ruined. They don’t turn the heater on much so it’s always freezing in there. I wish they would go back to when it was a family atmosphere and they prepared everything on the spot. I ordered some spring rolls and they were pre made so the wrapping was very stale. I understand everything went up in price but come on, they increased the prices and made the portion sizes way smaller, I don’t care to pay more but keep the portions the same, especially when taking out.
