"We were weary of crowds after fighting our way through the German Festival, when we stumbled upon this location. When I lived in SF, I always ate Paxti's pizza, and I was very excited to see that they serve deep dish pizzas. We went in and were told that it would be a 20 minute wait as a soccer team had just left and absolutely thrashed the place. This was fine, with me, so I milled around outside and reviewed the menu. After about 20 minutes, I had decided that I wanted to order about 5 different pizzas. Of course, this wouldn't be practical for a family of 6, so we decided on the garlic bread and a Chicago chopped with red chili flakes (for the littles). The garlic bread came out fairly quickly and I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation. I was very happy to see the piles of fresh basil in top of the perfect slices of bread. Each bite was crisp and refreshing without have the kick that fresh garlic can have. The marinara sauce was top notch! Fresh with wonderfully juicy chunks of ripe tomatoes. When the pizza came out, I immediately checked the bottom of it. I've been to many deep dish restaurants and the bottom of the crust is usually soggy. This one was crisp and nicely covered with cornmeal. It was piping hot, stodgy and did not buckle under the weight of the toppings. I used a knife and fork to eat it, but I could have easily used my hands. With each bite you could taste the care and love that went into making the pizza. I would come back multiple time a week if I lived in the area and I definitely want to try the rest of the menu. Sorry Paxti's. I have a new favorite!"

I ordered takeout deep dish pizza and did not enjoy the cornmeal crust. I may give this restaurant another chance and try a different pizza style next time.

I liked my experience when I visited the place. The place had good vegetarian options and the food was good. The folks who helped us were professional and nice to interact with. I would want to visit this place again.

First time trying deep dish and enjoyed it very much. We got the small chicago chop for 2 and the portion size was perfect. Next time would go for something with less meat as the chicago chop's 3 meats ratio to cheese was slightly unbalanced.

Today was one man show, he was the only waiter yet the place is not too busy. Pizza was okie, nothing so special about it. Order half and half Pesto chicken was good but can't taste or find any chicken. The mushroom was yummy but expect more mushroom. Large pizza-8 slices. We ate outside because of the dog yet the heater can't be turned on bc no propane View menu

My girlfriends and I love this place! They have a great selection of pizzas, with various crusts options, along with refreshing salads appetizers. We recently had the Pear and Arugula thin crust pizza, along with a the great Meatball one! The Meatball pizza reminded me of a great Italian dish just placed on top of a delicous deep dish crust, instead of pasta. To complete the meal a must have is their Carmel Apple Bread Pudding. Yum! Blue Line see you soon.

Absolutely love their pizza! Have passed by this place before and always wanted to try and so happy I did. They're known for their Chicago deep dish pizza, but they're also known for their New York thin crust style pizza, which is amazing! Ordered a large Chicago chopped with thin crust with black olives, extra pepperoni, extra Parmesan, mushroom, sausage, and Canadian bacon. Let me tell you how delicious it was. It was amazing starting from the first bite. The crust was so good and done well. Also ordered their Spanish and artichoke dip and holy moly it was so freaking delicious. Did not expect that at all! Even the bread that came with it was so crispy and so flavorful. Would definitely co...

Came by for dinner with some friends last week. Our party included 2 toddlers. Overall we had a fine experience but a couple noteworthy things: Their tables inside all have wobbly issues, as we walked in we saw an employee sticking pieces of wood under a few tables in an attempt to make them even. The one we were sat at was also a bit wobbly. And we noticed tables near us were where multiple tables were put together to create a bigger table had the same issue of misaligned table tops. I found the pizzas had way too much going on I mean I know we chose the dishes when we ordered but I guess I didn't expect THAT much bbq sauce on the bbq chicken pizza. This may just be a personal preference th... View menu

My friend brought us to this deep dish pizza restaurant before we went to the nearby club, and I must say, it's the best deep dish pizza I've ever had! He pre-ordered online, so when we arrived, our food was ready, and we got to enjoy it at their nice outdoor seating area. The size of the pizza was a bit smaller than I expected, but it turned out to be the perfect size. I remember feeling full after just one slice at another place, but here I was able to enjoy a few slices of garlic bread and a slice of the blue line pizza. The blue line pizza had a great balance of toppings and sauce, and the crust was standout. The garlic bread was the highlight for me, as it was beautifully presented with...

I am thrilled that we decided to eat at Blue Line Pizza! With so many food options in the area, it can be difficult to choose, but this decision was easy! The pizza was incredible with its crispy thin crust, generous toppings, and delicious flavors. Even though it was hard to see all the toppings at first glance, once I separated them from the crust, I could see just how many were piled on! One slice was very filling, and the crust had a satisfying crunch. Our friend enjoyed a nice red wine with our meal, and we especially loved the Chicago Chopped pizza with modifications of extra cheese and veggies like mushrooms and black olives. The server was friendly and attentive, and our pizza arrive...

"Date Night ASA Restaurant has two locations in the Bay Area and their Los Gatos location earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition This was my first dining experience at their more north location in downtown Los Altos With high ceilings and heart themed adorned menus, this was a perfect spot for a Valentine’s week dining experience The menu here is slightly different from the Los Gatos location and I’ve heard that the two locations may not be as closely affiliated when they first opened I loved the appetizers and particular loved the anchovy bread with two different anchovy types topped on crisp, warm bread. The Dungeness crab appetizer was also excellent For entrees, I opted for ASA’s signature exotic mushroom pasta that is on both the Los Gatos and Los Altos menu As a fungi fan, I absolutely love this dish and it’s one of the best pasta dishes in the South Bay and Peninsula The only miss was their special of the day of striped bass over risotto. The purple yam purée was sour and the risotto dry with zero moisture or liquid and more like a cooked rice dish than a risotto ASA is a fantastic destination for the Bay Area and while the prices are elevated, they reflect elevated cuisine (and high ceilings) Smoked and Stoned $16 Anchovy Bread $16 Dungeness Crab Toast $36 Special Striped Bass over Risotto ASA’s Exotic Mushroom Pasta $34 ASA Restaurant (Los Altos, CA) Reservations are recommended on Opentable and dining is indoor only. Credit cards including AmEx are accepted."

"The experience here from start to finish was pretty odd, and the service was bad. Menus weren't brought to us for a long time, they apologized when they eventually gave the menus to us. The restaurant was nearly empty aside from one other table, but everything was slow. We weren't checked in on at all during the meal. When we ordered, the waitress was very confused and unfamiliar with the menu. I assumed she was new, but then we received the same confusing service from all staff. We were randomly brought French fries that we didn't order, and then that kept happening with various other menu items The veggies in all the dishes were cold and tasted watery, unseasoned, and like they had been frozen. Scallion pancakes had no scallions in them at all. Basil eggplant dish had no basil at all. Smoothie wasn't blended properly: all ice at the bottom, and only a super sweet watery liquid would come through the straw. It tasted like the same overly-processed sauce was on every dish, nothing felt fresh. The kimchi rice was a good menu item, but it didn't really taste like kimchi. Just seasoned rice. Appetizer and drinks were brought out after we finished everything. A staff member tried to argue with us when we wanted to send something back. When we paid and thanked them, they didn't say a word to us or even look in our direction, and didn't give us a customer copy of the receipt."
