"While in Palestine, on a weekend trip, we dined at Queen Street Grille on a Saturday night. It is housed in the historic Redlands Hotel. The hostess, Maria, made us feel right at home. She was charming. At our request, Maria made several recommendations from the menu. We ordered the cold salmon appetizer. It came with bread, capers, red onion, and sour cream. Outstanding! My husband tried the seared duck and I ordered the redfish with a wonderful glaze. Both plates were accompanied with asparagus. My fish came with risotto and my husband's with mashed potatoes. He was very pleased with the duck and I was delighted with the redfish. Both were excellent choices. The margarita I had was just right. Maria told me Jose made it. My compliments to Jose! We topped off our dinner with blueberry bread pudding with amaretto sauce. It was light and flavorful. The room in which we dined was lovely. The tall windows and transoms throughout the restaurant gave a dramatic and historic feel to the dining room. We look forward to returning at our next opportunity. The wonderful food, charming hostess, and beautiful setting made for a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend dining at Queen Street Grille."
