I had the mushroom philly dip and it was fantastic! Since then, I believed it. I would like to try other things on their menu, but I don't know if I can resist, not always the philly dip every time! all about it was good, the brot, the way the mushrooms were seasoned, and the bathroom. phenomenal!

I ate the BBQ tempeh sandwich and the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich. Both were amazing, comfort food options. My husband had the cauliflower shawarma wrap and he enjoyed it, but we both agreed the BBQ sandwich was the best. I shared the dessert with the table, and even the meat eaters were impressed.

Herbivore menu FTW. SO good, we ate here twice in three days. The servers are knowledgeable and the vegan.plugins are clearly marked. The cole slaw is even vegan. Everything we tried was Amazing. There are limited options for vegans at this restaurant. I really like the vegan tempeh BLT, especially when I have it on vegan bread instead of a baguette. The staff isn't very friendly or welcoming, but the food is delicious and the focus here. There is a spacious table in the back that can be reserved, but be aware that the room can get quite cold.

The mushroom philly dip is mind blowing!! I’ve gone back like three times to get this one dish because the flavors are on point in every way. The restaurant itself is a cool, counter service spot with endless beer options. I’ve seen some comments about the price and I think it’s actually pretty fairly priced. I think they pay their employees a fair wage not to mention, Bend isn’t a cheap place in general :

My husband (an omnivore) and I (a vegan) were on vacation in Bend and I was looking for a restaurant that offered more than just the typical vegan options like veggie burgers or salads. Luckily, we found a place that had a great variety of vegan dishes! I felt like I hit the jackpot. I tried the Hoisin Tofu Bahn Mi sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again before leaving town, 2 days later. My husband also really enjoyed his burger. I can't wait to visit Bend again and eat at this restaurant. Update: Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, many restaurants have faced challenges. BTBS has had to reduce their menu and eliminate their vegan options. While they still offer a few vegan-friendly items, it's disappointing that the truly vegan options have been removed. We hope this is only temporary. The restaurant has a beautiful interior with plenty of seating. There are still some vegan options available and some dishes can be easily modified to be vegan. We enjoyed the Mushroom Philly Dip (without Provolone) and the Hoisin Tofu Bahn Mi sandwich, along with some delicious cocktails. Keep in mind this update was posted on 2021-07-27.

Located at the bottom of the hill from the community college, this is a good place if you have friends who range from meat eaters to vegans because there's something for everyone. It's also a good place if you dine alone with seating at the bar. Inside, there's a wall refrigerator with ales to kombucha to choose from. There's indoor/outdoor seating. The vibe is very laid-back relaxed which I really liked. Their menu options are limited, but sufficient. Price was okay. We had the vegan dip sandwich, black bean soup buffalo soy curl slider. man and I wanted to try this place because they had several vegan options. we sat on the terrace because it was beautiful outside. I ordered the hoisin tofu and my man ordered the tempe ruben sandwich. the server mentioned that they were from the dikonradies for my sandwich with which I was in order. when the food came, there was no other sweet, it should have gurken, carrots, thai basilikum and cilantro. my man didn't get what he ordered. the tempe ruben was the tempe bbq sandwich. the service was even worse.
