"If you can't make it to Ireland, you should definitely visit Celtic Knot for an authentic taste of Irish cuisine! The owners truly bring the experience to life, making you feel as though you're dining in Ireland itself. The large, thick-cut fries are perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! The turkey burger is homemade, and I highly recommend trying the chicken curry, which comes with vegetable potatoes and a delightful puff pastry. Everything was hot and incredibly tasty! The atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional Irish pub, and the friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe. They also offer a great selection of Irish beers. We even tried the shepherd's pie from the menu – it was fantastic! Thank you, Owners [please provide their names], for taking us on this culinary adventure to your wonderful country! We can't wait to return!"

Nice Evanston neighborhood Irish bar and grill, cannot eat in... but speedy takeout. Went to Whole Foods while I waited. I had their bacon burger and cupcake. Food is good! Hope to dine in soon!

Does the Irish month bind and where should you be better? I had an avocado chicken salad that was only spicy, fresh and didn't have to wait long. Waitress was kind, helped us and had a big smile. They want to come here. View menu

This is one of the best restaurants. First and Foremost, Liz, Patrick, and Rachel could not be nicer hosts. Their split pea soup is amazing. Fish and chips, corned beef, and burgers are so good. We were in town for three nights and went there 4 times. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and serves tasty food. While it's not exceptional, it's a pub after all. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially for this area. During our visit, there was live music, which created a lovely ambiance without being too loud, allowing for easy conversation. The service was fantastic, and we couldn't have asked for better treatment. I highly recommend this place!

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."
