"I wish I had found Chez Longu earlier during my stay in Sainte Maxime. It's the kind of no-nonsense restaurant where professionals actually spend time making you feel at home. Food and service are excellent and it's not too expensive. When we were there, the place was packed and it took a while before our food was ready. The owner stopped by our table to apologize, then later stopped by again to ask whether we liked it (we sure did and I told him!). There's often a line of people waiting to get a spot, so a reservation can come in handy."

Been in St Maxime for 4 nights faced with an impossible task of finding a great place to eat when there are so many. Then we find Chez Longu, fantastic food plenty of it not over priced great people running the place. Pizza was excellent, tagliatelle excellent, atmosphere fantastic. Will go again for sure.

We came across this restaurant on one of our many visits to Ste Maxime, it's a new addition to the restaurants in Ste Maxime, they are doing a great job to deliver great meals at good prices. Good pizzas as well as grilled meat/ fish great choice and many variations of set menus. The pesto tapenade was a nice intro as was the tap water at every table and when the bill comes it is under a kilner jar of sweets for the kids and young at heart.
