"Context: 4th of July, Monday, 2022 at 3pmFirst, we had to sit in a specific booth just to be served happy hour specials. We were moved 3 times before seated.Second, the drinks came out at least 20 mins after we ordered. How hard is it to make a margarita? The second round of them had a fly in one of the drinks. You can very obviously tell the ice machine is dirty.Third, the food was just as expected, below quality and a waste of money. Even a simple a burger was not worth spending 10 on because your hands get covered in the butter they try to mask their low quality buns in. It’s okay, I got a to go box.Fourth instead of comping our margarita with the fly, she asked if I would go ahead a pay before I was done eating so she could go on lunch.Lastly, no one greeted us as we came in, nor did they wish me a happy 4th or good day as we left.Context is necessary because they are probably low staff, and understandingly. It’s chili’s.P.S. One of the hostess’ hit my girlfriend in the head with a menu “by accident” after listening to us make wholesome jokes about the bad service. Understanding if you’re petty, but show some professionalism chili’s.I highly recommend this chili’s if you’re looking for some regret in your life. Obtuse Objections"

The food here was really good for the price. Unfortunately we had to send back some of the chicken because it was not good but they made no fuss about it and quickly brought back some chicken.

We went Mother's Day evening the wait was short service was good my quesadilla was a little overcooked very crispy most of the filling was on one side the other side didn't have hardly anything on it I had a hard time eating it

The food is about the same as other Chili's. I do wish the music was better. Not a fan of the electronic dance music, very grating. The waitress was awesome even on her third day. The orders were taken well and food arrived as expected. All in all I would return. View menu

We went for a late lunch and was seated right away. The restaurant was clean and the hosting staff was friendly. Our server was prompt, attentive and courteous and delivered food and drinks in great timing. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh when delivered to our table.

I ordered my food. they said it was done in 20 minutes. I was there a couple of minutes early, and I had to wait 20 minutes until it was taken for picking up the ship. I ordered a full ripp about 1 2 a rack and that was cold when I checked it before I even left. the waitress that broke out, there was no thanks that nothing smiles. I will not come back here.

Typical Chili's restaurant with American food mixed with various styles of popular items like pasta, ribs, fajitas, etc. I have to ask, why, oh why did they get rid of the Awesome Blossom onion appetizer?? That was the best menu item they had! Please bring it back, as I was looking forward to ordering one. Guess I'll have to go to the competitor's restaurants that still offer a similar appetizer. Our waiter did a good job. However, we were there during happy hour and did not get the happy hour price. We were with a larger group so we had to sit at a table. Our server asked if we can still have the happy hour price and they said no. Very poor customer service! I won't be going back. I guess this is why the restaurant was empty. Ankeny has many places to eat to go out to eat with large groups and they appreciate the business.

They should probably get a better evening manager we watched two couples walk out as employees looked over at them but never came and sat them, also they were not busy more busy with chitchatting amongst themselves .I eventually just called there main phone line and asked them to seat us since we drove over an hour away to eat there. Customer service definitely needs to be worked at this restaurant and this happens every time I’ve been to this location in the last two years. Food also was sitting for awhile before it was brought out. This restaurant use to have so much potential it’s sad to see it go down hill.
