"This place has great traditional Indian food. It goes beyond the saag paneer and naan that you see at all Indian restaurants. They have parathas, rotis, 2 subji dishes and two dahl soups everyday. They have a Chaat night where they have pani puri, kasta kachori etc. If you would like to have something different and tasty, give it a try. Then you can stop by Gandhi Bazaar next door. I have never seen any meat products in there as I believe the owner is vegetarian too. It would be great if there was a location in South Austin because I'd frequent it more often."

I ordered a Thali plate which included rice, 2 curries, dhal, roti, and since I requested it to be vegan, it also came with 2 mini samosas. The restaurant had clear vegan options marked, the service was fast and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to get so much food for just $10.
