"After a scrumptious dessert experience at another restaurant, we decided to continue our culinary journey and stumbled upon Coppola's West, an Italian gem that left a lasting impression on all of us.Upon entering Coppola's West, we were immediately charmed by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant exuded a rustic charm, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance for patrons to enjoy. Our attentive hostess seated us promptly, and our friendly server made us feel right at home.Having recently indulged in dessert, we weren't as hungry as we were eager to explore the restaurant's offerings. However, we couldn't resist accompanying our meal with some delightful beverages. The menu boasted an impressive selection of wines, and we chose a red wine that paired perfectly with our chosen dishes, enhancing the flavors and creating a convivial dining experience."

We loved the experience here. Surprisingly fast service despite the exceptional quality of the food. It was fresh and delicious. The staff are all respectful and friendly.

Going there since 1989... i was younger then. Great food and service. The Italian cheese cake is truly Italian Ricotta cheese. Pasta dishes are great, good salads, fish and meat.

Food was adequate, but lacked depth of flavor. Had to add salt to everything and don't usually add salt. Stuffed mushrooms best, but artichoke pizza and stuffed chicken dish bland. Off night? View menu

They’re currently renovating but I called in a pizza pie when I stayed at the Lucerne and it was an amazing, flavorful, yet simple pizza. Quick and easy, loved the pepperoni. Definitely recommend for a quick pie

Cozy, inviting, classic. This was a terrific dinner spot. The food was excellent and the pasta was made fresh in-house. The dessert was decadent. They have a brick pizza oven. Oh, yes, and the service was great! Coppola's is good for special occasions or any day.

Coppola’s, what happened? Been going to this place for decades. Was always some of the best, most authentic Italian food on the UWS. Lately, it feels like they are using cheaper ingredients. Chicken Parm with supermarket can tasting breadcrumbs. Chicken Marsala with a thin watery sauce. View menu

We have dined at Ciao Paisan dozens and dozens of times over the years in person and for takeout. Yes, the name of the restaurant and ownership has changed, but the menu and amazing food are the exact same. This restaurant serves the best Italian food on the Upper West Side. We are glad to see this establishment is still going strong!

At the moment, they are operating as takeout only due to a pipe burst flooding out their building. It’s across the street from our hotel, so we bought a bottle of wine from the store at the corner and took our meal to our room. Wow, real Italian flavors. High quality. The pizza was amazing. My wife also found a tasty dish that was allergen free. The place was so good , we went back again later in the week.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
