"I visited a local park and wanted a good local place to eat and decided on Corky Bell’s because they were open on a Sunday and I am glad I picked this place. I didn’t get any pictures of the food before I demolished it but everything on my plate was absolutely amazing and I got too busy eating before thinking about photos. I got the lunch special 1/2 1/2 which was two different seafoods with two sides. I got the fried catfish and blackened shrimp along with my sides of tomatoes and okra over rice for one side and veggie of the day which was sweet potato or carrots (I choose the potato). The fish was cooked perfectly and tender and the shrimp was seasoned perfectly. The service was great and the waitress was very helpful helping me out with everything. Parking: There is paved and dirt parking, lots of options."

Seriously, every single bit of our experience was top notch. Heaps of great food for the money. The hush puppies were crisp on the outside, slightly sweet, and the best I've ever had (as someone born in North Carolina, that is a feat in itself). The seafood and even the Alfredo pasta were out of this world good. Seating was plentiful, and they even moved us under cover when rain started. We closed out the place talking and were never hurried one bit. I'm grateful for the experience and will be back.
