"Owner was extremely rude and when i was talking to him, he just watched the TV and ignored me!! The floor is nasty and dirty, wall panel looks like it dates back to the 70's as well as the tables and stools chairs in the place... I think they make enough money with the entry fees and everything else at the front door that they could at least remodel the place and bring it up to date. Otherwise do I plan on returning a Selena. I'll find a much better bar with entry fees that I'd rather spend my money on!!! Plus there's so many cops and fights in the driveway!"

5$ cover for men n women very nice people who work there helped me find my phone called another bar before I went to avoid an unnecessary trip. Drink prices are reasonable. Small parking lot. Open until 6am. DJ comes at midnight.

We visited Donny's twice, during the Autumn Rally in 2014 and the Spring Rally in 2015. On both occasions, we were treated like family. It's a fantastic place to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. I highly recommend checking out this bar. I can't wait to return!

Would have been 5 stars but my second night in town i was refused service.... Had a blast there last night but tonight it was the complete opposite.... Knowing now that this is a predominantly black bar, i felt that race definitely played a roll in my being allowed to enter. Not a problem, will take my business elsewhere. View menu

I had an incredible night! Everything went perfectly, and I danced the entire time because the DJ was fantastic. It wasn't overly packed, but it was just enough to create a lively atmosphere without feeling sweaty. It was the best night in Myrtle Beach! I definitely enjoyed my drinks and celebrated my birthday week and weekend in style!

During my first visit, as we were leaving the bar, we heard people arguing. When we got to our car, we were startled by the sound of gunshots that followed. When the police arrived, they mentioned that this sort of thing wasn't unusual for the area. Suffice it to say, that was the last time I went there. I definitely do not recommend this place.

My two friends and I were invited last Saturday night by another friend of mine who is regular with whom it was our first time there, I don't know if we were a vibe or what wasn't Newby's there) but all they were very friendly and welcoming to come to the dance floor, the safety was professional and pleasant, my only complaint is if I had given a drink, I got a price when I ordered the same drink.
