"This restaurant was surprisingly good for a low profile hotel restaurant. I ate there because I was just too exhausted to go out ... and it was really good. I don't think I would go out of my way to eat there, mainly because the atmosphere is uninspired, but I would definitely eat there again if I was staying at the hotel. Every staff member we encountered at the whole hotel was really friendly and helpful. That includes the restaurant staff."

Solid menu. Great service. Music was too loud but I guess that filters out the game room noise.

The food was delicious. I order the prawns with salmon and my friend ordered the cajun pasta. Both were great!

The evening we booked was very quiet so not much atmosphere. The food was very good and we couldn’t fault it. Service was good as well so overall we had a great evening. View menu

Stayed at Kimpton Hotel Palomar and ate at their restaurant. Service was good. Food was delicious. I had the Marsala Chicken. Portion was perfect. This is a good “in restaurant” place to catch a bite and relax without worry. Would recommend.

A great venue for a quiet conversation over light fare. The food was excellent the Artisan Flatbread was superb with elegant ingredients. A diversity of alcohols and non alcoholic drinks to meet all expectations. Service was accommodating and attentive without being intrusive. Overall a calming and pleasant atmosphere.

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
