"We often visit this restaurant and usually really enjoy it, as well as the Duchess in general. It's typically a great place, and we're willing to deal with the crowds because their food is consistently good. However, today was a different experience. Maybe it was just too busy, but I noticed that the long hot dog wasn't actually long at all. We ended up with just one regular-sized hot dog, and it was burnt and tough. We ordered three combos but only got three orders of fries, which were all dark and hard. In the end, we couldn't eat any of it."

Located south of the village on Bridgeport Avenue (State Route 714), the main north-south thoroughfare running through the Huntington area of the city, I have always enjoyed the menu at Duchess! View menu

Choose Wendy's or McDonald's! This is a a hot dog and fries right out of the bag. I think they would have thrown it through the take out window if my hand wasn't out reached. This isn't edible, and I don't think Duchess has the management chops of the main brands to maintain quality.

I absolutely love Duchess, even though it’s only located in Connecticut. They offer tasty, fresh burgers and a wide range of excellent dishes. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth a visit. Also, as shown in the picture, one of my favorites is the Freestyle Coke machine, which lets you pick from dozens of soda flavors! These machines are rare to find, but whenever I come across one, I make a point to stop by the restaurant just to try it.

In my update on August 27, 2022, I noticed that the staff remained incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything is freshly made and customizable, so while the wait might be a bit longer, that's a testament to the quality. I really enjoyed their onion rings, smoothies, and generous fresh salads. Among all the fast food options in the area, they definitely offer the best healthy choices, including fantastic grilled chicken breasts and wraps. Keep up the excellent work! View menu

I really enjoy Dutchess, even though it's only located in Connecticut. They serve delicious, fresh burgers and a variety of other fantastic dishes. If you're near one, it's definitely worth a visit. By the way, in the picture, you can see one of my other favorites—the Freestyle Coke machine, where you can choose from dozens of different soda flavors. I don't see many of these amazing machines around, but whenever I find one, I'll be sure to check out the place just for that!
