"A group of us went on a busy Valentines night. The parking lot was already full and the din as I entered the restaurant, was almost overpowering. The acoustics and sound system were horrible. We couldn’t hear each other most of the evening. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise, it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Some of the group chose the Valentines menu and others had the (huge) burgers or mahi mahi tacos. I had the extraordinary luck to choose the Sweet Thai Shrimp as a small dish. They came out perfectly fried with a crisp outer shell of flour and tender shrimp inside. The portion was generous. Enough for me to allow six other people to try a shrimp and for me to have enough for a meal afterwards. Truly one of the better dishes I’ve ever had in my long pastime of reviewing restaurants. The bill came to less than $20 not including tip. Kudos to our server, Scott, who took orders, had drinks on the table in minutes and even took photos of the group for us. He made it look easy. Parking: There are entrances on both sides of the building and parking on each side. However on the weekends, they tend to fill up quickly. Patrons can park in neighboring businesses for dinner."

We had a wonderful dinner. The waitress and staff were incredibly accommodating, even going out of their way to make lemonade for our daughter from the bar. However, we’ve decided that when we come back, we won't bring our child, as the atmosphere is more suited for adults.

Eight of us enjoyed brunch here this morning, and it was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. This is hands down the best brunch in Slidell! We'll definitely be returning next Saturday. The pictures don't do justice to how amazing everything tasted!

Exceptional service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere! We enjoyed our meal on the patio overlooking the water, where we were attended by a delightful and funny waitress. The management also came by to ensure everything was perfect. I live nearly two hours away, and I'm seriously considering making the drive just for a spontaneous Sunday brunch—it's that fantastic! A+. Amazing. Tasty. Fast. Calming. Beautiful. Excellent spot. I finally went here after wanting to go for a few years. Sat on patio on a perfect day overlooking the lake on the golf course. My husband was out of town so I decided to try somewhere new on my own. Definitely left satisfied. Staff was very nice and accommodating. As I waited for a spot at the bar to open, almost all the staff at some point checked in to see if I was helped or needed anything. Which is a testament of how aware and customer service focused they are. I also liked that the menu was different compared to the traditional creole/soul food in the area. The drinks were really good too. Would definitely recommend.
