"Myself, Father and Uncles come to Famous at least once a week! The food is consistently good (try the Cheesy Chicken Calabash Sub), the Waitresses are very kind, patient and are very good at what they do! If you get lucky enough to have Tammy as awaitress, you?re gonna have a great time. The pizza?s are great, the subs are great, the salads are HUGE, the cannolis aredelicious and the atmosphere is generally pretty awesome. If you come on a weekday for lunch, it?s going to be consistentlybusy with an eclectic clientele that speaks to the speed and precision of the cooks, the welcoming atmosphere and the overallwonderful aura of the restaurant. If you?re in the area, it?s a short hop off 85, it?s accessible and it?s a great place. Don?tthink about it, do. Oh, it?s not expensive either. As a rarity now, the portions are proportional to what you pay. 8/10,10/10 with Tammy. As Arnold has been parodied as saying, ?DO EEIIIT! DO IEET NOOOW!?"

I placed an order with them last night and was very disappointed. I received cold, soggy fries that were supposed to be onion rings. I also ordered a rib eye steak sandwich and a double cheeseburger with bacon, but there was no bacon on the burger. Both sandwiches were overcooked and dry. This restaurant has repeatedly messed up my orders, and the only reason I've held back from complaining before is that my veteran uncle, who has health issues, enjoys the food. I spend around $300 there each month just to make him happy, but after this experience, they have lost my business for good.

Customer service was great! The host offered me dessert and spaghetti since it was closing time. The spaghetti sucked. It didn?t smell too great when I got it and the taste could have been better. I marinated it a little more and add my own cheese a seait to make it edible to my liking. The garlic bread was sub bread with butter and was over toasted and too hard to eat. The salad sucked as well. It consisted of lettuce a few slices of cucumber a few grape Tom tomatoes, white onion slices, an olive, and a pepper. It was a good price for what it consisted of, but it could?ve been way better.

"I'm giving this place of three because of the nice waiter and the location is nice. I also only tried the Mexican food so I don't know what the other food tastes like. When I went at lunch there was a lot of retired people eating there. I drove out of the way to try this place because I was told by people they had good authentic Mexican food. I'm assuming it's people that have never been outside of the area. I was disappointed with the food and the prices for what I received if the food had been authentic the prices would have been worth it. But everything was flavorless and watered down I'm not sure if it was done because most of the guests are primarily elderly from what I saw today. They didn't even have authentic Mexican hot sauce or cheeses on my flautas. The chips were cold they tasted a little stale and the salsa was tasteless and like a tomato puree. It's very Americanized and if that's what you like you'll probably like this place. But for me it wasn't what I was expecting. Better to travel to other places and get Mexican food in the area. I hope they read these reviews because they are Mexican family and I'm sure that they can make better food and if they've watered it down for the area in the population that they're getting I think that's the wrong thing to do. I think they would be better and busier if they had authentic Mexican food at this location. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"New mgmt company has ruined this place. No kids menus available to read, either in print or online, waitress had to check what was available for kids. My drink was so unbalanced with lemon juice it tasted like floor cleaner. We ordered kids food first burger, Mac n cheese, Caesar salad to come out as ready, and our apps things. Our apps came first. Tuna tataki tasted off, I can't believe my husband actually ate it, I think he did so only because he was so hungry. Potstickers were burnt, not golden, burnt on one side. Can't believe my kids ate them, but again, they were also hungry. Bruschetta was the special, tomatoes were underripe why offer it as a special if produce isn't ripe?. Not that it mattered, because there was soooo much garlic you couldn't taste anything else. Bread served with it was also completely black on one side. Not grilled totally black. Did not eat. And last we ordered the lobster crepe. Down right gross. Cold lobster salad, in a cold, crumbling wrap yes, it was rolled up like a deli wrap with a big blob of mayo on the plate. Inedible and gross. That was the last straw. If your drinks are bad and your food is bad, why bother staying? Asked for the check and to go boxes for the kids food, which still hadn't arrived, and left. Not once did the server or a manager do a quality check on us or ask if everything was OK. Paid our check in full and tipped the server, told the hostess on our way out about our disappointment, no attempt to get a manager or try to correct the situation. It was a very disappointing experience, and we don't see any reason to return if this is the direction their quality level and service are being since firing their chef and restaurant manager"
