"Stopped here for lunch recently (on a Sunday .. was seated right away by a friendly host and greeted relatively quickly by our server... the menu selections were pretty limited just not a super big selection (which is fine I'd rather them have their specialties than to have all kinds of menu items that aren't good! ..the food was ok I wasn't blown away by it, and it wasn't bad by any means I guess I just expected something different! Prices were fine in the expected range for the city.. all staff members were friendly helpful... I think I'll go back again in due time, and try something different on the menu maybe I'll have a different impression but for now, it just doesn't make my top restaurant list but give it a try, I can't say anything bad about the place at all!!"

Neighborhood staple. Varied menu, competently prepared, but the pizzas are what shines.

This is our favorite spot for pizza in NYC. The quality is always excellent, and the delivery is quick, so our order always arrives hot.

The food was overall excellent, though the spaghetti was a bit dried out. However, the extra fees and delivery charges from DoorDash were quite excessive!

Fabulous brunch food- omelet with mushrooms and ricotta, lemon pancakes with ricotta and maple syrup. Nice seating outdoors on a beautiful fall day and friendly, patient service from Matthew and Erica. An altogether lovely experience. We'll be back! View menu

The food was quite good, with everything being above average in taste and quality, especially considering it was happy hour. However, the waitress was a bit inattentive and seemed dismissive, which was frustrating when I tried to leave. Overall, it was a generally pleasant experience.

The pizza was absolutely amazing. However, the wine was served a bit too warm for a place that refers to itself as an enoteca. I had to use an ice bucket, and only the last sip was enjoyable. The service was good, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and busy. The espresso was decent, but nothing remarkable. Additionally, the noise level in the restaurant was quite high.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
