"I was at Franklin's this past weekend and let me tell you, I am still in shock over the absolutely terrible, rude and disrespectful way my friends and I were treated there. I have been there many times and have never experienced this type of negative service. The waitress, whose name I don't remember, doesn't belong in the service business. I hope the owner sees this and does something about her. I also will not step foot in that place again unless something is done to right the very, VERY awful experience I had. Here after a funeral. While the reason to be here was a sad place of AMAZING. ordered the Taco salad and was not disappointed. Also has a cozy proctor feeling that was a massive plus. 10/10 Come back.

If you're searching for a fantastic restaurant directly across from Rutland, Franklin is the spot for you. From the refreshing cold beers (I enjoyed a couple of drafts of Rutland Red) to the soups and main courses, everything was both delicious and generous in portion.

We eventually found a table and waited for 15 minutes without receiving a menu and feeling increasingly uncomfortable. Ultimately, we decided to leave. This seems like a place primarily frequented by locals, so I'm not sure it’s worth a detailed review. My advice if you’re considering a visit: don’t bother.
