"We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My wife and I ordered the fried green tomato club sandwich, but it was not as described in the menu. The sandwich was served on white bread with few green tomatoes and bacon, and very little Cajun mayo. The fries were also not up to par. My wife enjoyed her grilled cheese sandwich, but the only highlight of the meal was the Vidalia onion pie appetizer, which was very good. Overall, we were not impressed with the bland sandwich and only ate one of the fried green tomatoes. We give it 2 stars for the onion pie."

We love coming to Gnats! We like that the menu has smaller options! Their appetizers are yummy and different! The laid back outside patio is fun and relaxing! Always a good experience!

We are here visiting for my daughter’s Spring Break. My husband ordered shrimp and cheese grits- lightly blackened with the Gnat’s sauce. We both agree- it’s the best southern/seafood we’ve had on the island. We would highly recommend. View menu

We’ve been here multiple times and it’s always good. Last time we went there someone new in the kitchen who didn’t know how to bread onion rings but they remade them for us. Drinks are okay, not the best we’ve ever had. I love the porch dining room.

Stopped in for dinner last night and it was great! Had the blackened trigger fish sandwich that was very good, and crispy sweet potato fries! Jacob was such a nice and attentive server with whom we had a very nice conversation with! Ask for Jacob from TN, he’ll take great care of you! Was a little loud in main restaurant so opted for the patio which was fine.
