"When my family stayed in Los Angeles for a couple of days, we went to Good Neighbor for breakfast and we were all happy and satisfied with our visit. The food is good. As a result, we decided to come here the next day. Although what happened was we asked for more toast to finish our breakfast, and by the time the toast came, the egg was cold so there was no point in eating it anymore. Since we had to wait for more than 15 minutes for just one piece of toast, we decided not to tip. We aren 't from the US by the way, so we aren 't aware of how serious tipping is. What happened next was crazy... the lady (I assume the owner of the place) knocked on our car window before we could leave and asked why we didn 't tip. When we explained to her why, she said that we ate all of our food and that they did not ignore us for waiting, which was a shock to us. We tipped the day before because we had a good experience, and now we didn 't, so what? That 's how customer service works... One extra piece of toast put on the grill/pan should take a few minutes, even on a busy day.. right? The ironic part of this all was that the wifi password for this place was goodtips and IT DIDN 'T WORK. My advice is, tip here or they 're gonna knock on your car windows haunting you for undeserved money"

Came twice for breakfast during my LA trip before heading to San Diego. Ordered different breakfast menu. The burrito and own style omelet was good taste

We really like this place, food quality and price was okay, service was friendly. My only recommendation would be to encourage them to reduce their plastic use, they're using disposable cups for coffee even though we were dining in.

This is not a bad spot to grab breakfast. However, I found it surprisingly expensive for a diner; we spent over $100 on four meals, including coffee and juice. I wasn't a fan of the microwaved oatmeal. On the bright side, the fresh salsa was full of flavor and paired wonderfully with the potatoes, onions, and peppers.

Every once in a while I come to this friendly restaurant to have tasty vegetarian options in warm, nice environment. In this visit I tasted veggie omelette with broccoli, mushroom etc. with a lightly sprinkled blue cheese, along with sourdough toasts and fresh cut fruits coffee. All plus service were wonderful. Strongly suggested!

As a Tennessean, I appreciate hearty, home-cooked meals made with love, and this place definitely delivers! I'm quite picky when it comes to grits, but they truly know their craft. You can't go wrong with the fajita omelette, grilled cheese, patty melt, and the sandwiches are fantastic! Customize your order the way you like, and the customer service is outstanding! View menu

Delicious! So many good things to say... everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Eggs, bacon, toast, crunchy home fries. Pancakes were as big as the plate! There was a 20 minute wait for a table, but it was worth it. Only negatives were very minor limited parking, one bathroom, dated furniture...but this is such a great place those things don't even matter. We will be back again! REALLY good service! We left full and happy.

My fiancé and I dined here for the first time today, and I have to say, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! As soon as we walked in, we felt like family, which was such a nice surprise. We both ordered burgers, and they were juicy and packed with flavor. I chose the Mushroom and Swiss burger, and I was really impressed by the generous amount of mushrooms on it. The only downside was the relatively high prices for diner fare, but honestly, I'd much rather pay a little extra for such excellent service than settle for a cheaper place that doesn’t care. I was also eyeing the French Toast, so we will definitely be returning!

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
