Brought my girlfriend here for the first time. She absolutely loved it. Food just like mama or grandma would make.

I dined in for dinner and found the experience to be delightful. The price per person was between $30 and $50, which I felt was reasonable given the quality of the meal. Come hungry! This is an amazing restaurant for classic country cooking that reminds you of Grandma's recipes! I can't decide if I prefer the ribs or the fried chicken—they're both delicious! I really enjoy the nostalgic, simpler atmosphere they’ve created. The service is fantastic, too; you’re seated quickly, and before you know it, the food is on your table!

Its hard for me to put into words,the incredible place that this restaurant is.its my new favorite.i loved everything about the place.the food was great .the service was great.really nice people there ,I really enjoyed the intire experience.I would recommend this place above any other restaurant.you need to go there.I definitely will be back there every chance I get.on a scale of 1 to 10 .it is a 10 because ther is no bigger number.go there. The dishes arrive upside down on mismatched plates, adding to the rustic charm. You barely sit down before your drink is served, followed shortly by a cart filled with an array of dishes that "me-maw" has been preparing all day. On our visit, we enjoyed fried chicken, fried fish, country ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, cinnamon apples, pinto beans, hoecakes, and cornbread. Everything is served family-style, and if you want more of anything, just ask—me-maw has plenty to share!
