"I 'm sorry, but for this kind of money I 'm not eating dinner in a tent with zero view, in a parking lot, with port-o-let bathrooms. Even though they 're nice port-o-lets. Although service was perky and attentive, they couldn 't make up for the poor food and absence of ambiance. Let 's start with the bare bones small table in an oil stained parking lot slot, with the Waffle House hand written table number on a stand, and no salt or pepper (had to ask for it). The grilled Texas quail appetizer was tasty but tiny, and the the clam chowder was very light but a bit bland. My garden salad was basically lettuce and dressing, no tomatoes, no onions, and a few carrot chards. On a high note, the pork chop was very good and the accompanying Wild Turkey sweet potatoes were excellent. But my prime top sirloin was inedible. After a few chew and spit repetitions I called the server and he brought me a better cut. And take a look at that fancy steak and potato presentation. But it was too late and my appetite was being satisfied by some cold draft Firestone DBAs instead. We have had good food here a couple years ago but this was an expensive disappoinment."

I enjoyed a fantastic steak dinner with friends. The corkage fee was $25. I had the bone-in ribeye, which was a special for the evening. Honestly, this steak was cooked to perfection, and it was accompanied by excellent...

Loved the outdoor lunch area. It's shady and has gorgeous views. You can even see ostriches in the distance, which is super fun. Wine is great! Food was good. What I didn't like was that they use plastic cutlery and paper cups, very wasteful.

We had made a reservation for a table, but the service at the bar was so exceptional that we decided to stay there instead. My filet was cooked to perfection! The artichoke cup was fantastic, and the strawberry shortcake was the best I’ve ever tasted.

the lunch is served over the parking lot on the winery instead of in the steakhouse itself. the two vegetarian options include an beyond burger and a Portobello sandwich I chose and was delicious. there were also free broccoli stole. the service was amazing and the view of the valley and the straußland was beautiful. One of the best steakhouses on the Central Coast! My steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare—buttery soft and juicy, it was so well-prepared that it didn’t need any steak sauce. The appetizers were outstanding; I highly recommend the BBQ mushrooms cooked in their own brand of wine. I celebrated my birthday here, and the staff was incredible—from the manager, Angel, to Chef Jesus, and our waitress, Morgan. They all made my celebration truly special. They even surprised me with a birthday dessert!

Low-key but delicious steakhouse. They start you off with some veggies, maybe to clean your palette? No idea but I'm always down for some fiber. Their bean soup is completely vegetarian and really flavorful while the salad is pretty standard but still good. For entrees, I ordered the pork chop which has really great flavor and didn't seem too salty along with the baked potato. My hubs ordered the 10oz New York steak with the magic seasoning and that was really flavorful too. All in all, a solid steakhouse restaurant.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here and the food was absolutely delicious. Appetizer was wonderfully combined: roasted pepper with shrimp and goat cheese, served with (spicy) corn salsa. I had the chicken and it was so tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Served with many sides (salad, garlic bread, and I chose baked potato), I couldn't finish my plate. While I wouldn't make more than a 30 minute trip to eat here again, I would DEFINITELY visit again when I'm in the area. Sidenote: make reservations on the weekend! They book up quick! View menu

1. I thoroughly enjoyed her savory salad. It was fresh and delicious, and even though they already offered a mixed salad, this one stood out. 2. The steak and duck combo was exceptional—it's not often you find a place that serves both meats together. The steak was juicy and of top-notch quality. Plus, I appreciated the open kitchen concept, which allowed us to watch the chefs expertly cook the steaks. 3. The steak sauce is outstanding! The mandarin or orange-infused sauce complemented the steak and duck perfectly. It didn't make me feel overwhelmed by the meat, and I found it so enjoyable that I could have easily gone for a second helping.

We had a choice of two restaurants next to each other, both opened at 4 p.m. We waited for one to open but ended up going to the Hitching Post 2. Now here is where I read the Google reviews and both had their good points, yet in the end I'm happy we chose this place because we wanted more light with our dining experience. We Chose to sit out in the big white tent in the back. We weren't concerned with the prices because we know what rib places cost nowadays. Both meals were satisfying and tasty. We had good conversation good food and a good time. My favorite was the pork chop dinner while my girlfriend had the chicken dinner. I enjoyed watching the TV monitor with the cook actually cooking th...

"Got two recommendations for IEats and checked out their Yelp for ideas. Wow, so many mixed reviews. Some love, many do not. The place had a cool rustic, very open space. Two XL communal high tops seat a dozen. 3 or 4 smaller low boys. We lunched on a Monday, busy but not packed, good energy. We ordered a Banh mi to share. $17. it took a while to get, but looks like pork cutlet is fresh to order. Sammy looked incredible: well charred bread/roll, piled high with veg, good size portion. My first bite was nice, fresh mint popping through the slaw and shredded carrot. The pork was tasting a bit bland. I flipped it over to see if more flavor would register, it did. Some sauce, maybe spiced mayo, Hoisin. It was slightly underdressed for me but not sloppy, refined. Later bites some sauce was coming on strong, improving. Enjoyable to the last Last bite, but not great. Very Good. Saw a pizza in the oven and it looked very small 9-10 . Great looking options for toppings though. Service at the counter was friendly, plenty of staff dropping plates, napkins& flatware. Another asking my needs at the condiment station. The beer fridge caught my eye with a Chimay Blue but didn't see much local stuff. Diverse. I did see a couple of Goleta beers from down the road, so there was some representation. There were some political mementos and signs I didn't appreciate. It makes me think twice about supporting a place. I would say pretty good all around, glad we came in. Worth the visit but not sure Id come back."
