"Great barbecue and friendly service. They have tables out front to eat at, inside is a market and deli. Both the pulled pork and brisket were excellent, the hot BBQ sauce had a little kick and was tangy, very tasty. Jimmy D was super friendly and welcoming. Great place to get ice for the coolers too, cheap and you fill your own bag from their machine (so it’s not a giant fused block of cubes). They were smoking meat around the corner of the building and we can still smell the fantastic aroma."

I ordered a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving, and it was fantastic! We were all amazed by how juicy it was. I think we might have started a new tradition! Thanks!

Stopped by yesterday and glad I did! I love finding family owned BBQ places in the south and this is a gem! I just wish I had a cooler with me to take a bunch of it back to Ohio! I will next time. View menu

GREAT BBQ! Sitting in the parking lot eat Mr Jimmy's amazing BBQ pulled pork sandwiches and cut fresh apples. All kinds of freshly made candy, produce and great service. Live back in Nashville soon.

I grew up eating Jimmy D's BBQ and hadn't been there in awhile so got a sandwich for lunch. I was so disappointed. The BBQ was way to salty. Couldn't eat the sandwich it was so bad. Miss the old BBQ.

This is my favorite place to visit when I want to fill up and enjoy excellent customer service. I highly recommend trying their pulled pork sandwich plate, paired with mac and cheese, BBQ beans, and a corn cake. View menu

Good pulled pork and sides. We had an outdoor wedding and Jimmy D's catered. With 100+ people there, we still had plenty of leftovers. Friendly staff and the store is nice. I smoke meat myself and like to see the smoker rolling when you pull up to the store.

My favorite BBQ in Bowling Green, hands down! I never ate something that wasn't delicious here. Your apple cake... A-MA-ZING. This has become one of my favorite lunch spots. My husband stopped and was pulled through the pound last night with pork and brisket and brought it home for dinner. Very practical! The employees are always super nice and accommodating and it is CLEAN! (This is such a big deal for me. We sent family members from the city to eat and they were never disappointed!

"Do not go if it is busy. We have gone before and it was not bad but there was no excuse for tonight. My wife wanted to eat here for our anniversary, celebrating 5 years. Honestly after what we were served I would have rather eaten at Wendy’s. I havedined at many steak houses across the country. The steak I was served tonight I would not have given to my dog. I ordered thesteak medium, reasonable for a steak house because they normally undercook they steaks a bit. It was charred but cold and fleshyin the middle. I took two small bites and couldn’t do it, the steak was rare, honestly more than rare in the center. Iinformed the waiter it wasn’t right and he told me it would be taken back and corrected. After 10 minutes I was brought whatyou see in the picture I posted, the same steak just burnt. Yes it was closer to medium but by this time the outside was notcharred but burned. I tried my best to suffer through it but the taste of the burnt outer portion left a god awful taste in mymouth for the next hour. It was clear to me that nothing was going to be done after displaying my disgust so I payed and weleft. They steak you see in the picture cost me almost $60 alone. I have never been to another restaurant where the bill wasmore than $180 for two people and have been more disappointed. Honestly in bowling green go to Rafferty’s and get bettersteaks for a quarter of the price."
