"Wanted to love it. The food was good. The guys working there were nice enough. We had written saying it was our anniversary and that we were hoping for a nice table. They put us in the bar area and didn’t acknowledge our anniversary in any way. Then they brought us a different wine than what we ordered which, not surprisingly, was $30 more. A retail malbec one can get anywhere for $14. I didn’t make a thing of it because I didn’t want to kill the vibe on my date, but when you’re spending $300 plus for two people you expect really good service and a little extra care. A candle on the table would have gone a long way too, but the vibe was closer to an autobody shop where we were sitting. People shouting at each other. I was ready to love it but the bait and switch on the wine and not even a “happy anniversary” means I don’t think I’m going back."

Our server Michael was excellent and very attentive. The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. A little pricey but it was expected at a fine steak house like Joseph’s. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

This place was outstanding! The food was amazing and was plentiful. The cocktails were phenomenal and the service was great. If you're ever in the Bridgeport area, this is a must stop establishment. This place is not cheap, but WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

The service was great, the drinks were strong and the food was generally good. The only problem was that I found the meats to be a little overcooked. That included both the bacon appetizer and the stake entree, even though the entree was ordered medium-rare.

I was on way back from NH and we made reservations for 2 before we caught the ferry back to port Jeff. We ordered the bacon appetizer and the Joseph salad. The bacon was amazing but the salad was over dressed and was very soggy. The steak was great but the lobster roll was not that great. We were expecting a great dinner but was disappointed. We’ll probably give it another try . But we will definitely do drinks with Frank View menu

The food here was okay! My boyfriend and I have been to many steakhouses and there’s definitely better. The bacon app we ordered was almost completely fat and maybe that’s how some people like it, but we couldn’t eat most of it. We ordered our steaks medium and they came medium rare-rare. There was nothing too special about the sides and our service wasn’t bad but wasn’t anything extraordinary. For the price we paid, steakhouses like Flemings or J. Gilberts are the places to go.

I absolutely loved the decor of this restaurant; it created a warm and cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back to try more dishes. The Joseph's salad was fantastic, and the apple strudel with fresh whipped cream was simply divine. Everyone in our party enjoyed the porterhouse steak as well. The service was timely and friendly. Our waiter, Joseph, was excellent and full of personality. He was really helpful in suggesting delicious dishes and didn't pressure us to order more than we needed; he even suggested that one order would be enough for the whole table. His presence made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!
