"This was our second time dining at LaScala and we were, once again, underwhelmed. The restaurant is gorgeous! Every room is beautifully decorated with antiques. The bar area is quaint and lovely. That being said, our food was not good. We had appetizers, salads, entrees, and dessert. The apps were the best. The salad was drowning in dressing. The fish was way over cooked. The sauce on the Osso Bucco was too thick. The tiramisu was mushy. The bread made it to our table after the entrees. In addition, it seemed odd that the wait staff was dressed in Halloween costumes. This is a fine dining restaurant. Wait staff walking around in masks might have been fun for them but took away from the ambiance. Our host(manager), Gina, was the highlight of our experience. She's warm, knowledgeable on the history of the restaurant, and a truly wonderful front person. I'm sorry to say we won't be back as we are locals, and there are too many other good restaurants in Savannah."

Beautiful place. We went here for my wife's bday. Service was poor but the manager made up for the poor service. The food was okay. I'm not sure if I would return

The setting, atmosphere, and food at this restaurant were fantastic. The menu offers a great selection of traditional Italian dishes, all of which are well-prepared. View menu

The restaurant's ambiance is delightful. While the bolognese sauce was a bit too salty for my liking, the flavors were fantastic. The wine selection was also very impressive.

Great experience! Service was prompt and orderly. Appitizers were brought out hot and fresh and ample time was given before entree arrived. Crab soup for appetizer and Osso Bucco for entree. Both were excellent. Highly recommend.

We, my wife and friends, have eaten here many times and always enjoyed it. Excellent food and drink and atmosphere. While our last visit was no exception, our waiter was new (she said) and could have used a little help. Alas, the kitchen was still baking their always delicious bread and none was available for us. Love this place. It beautiful inside and the lasagna is WOW! The staff is super and Gina the host is very nice. We have been back several times. We brought our family in from NJ and they treated us like family. Mel the waiter was top notch and the chef came out and talked to us all about the house and food. We had the best time. Weather you sit in or out it's all good!

This restaurant provided an excellent culinary experience from start to finish! Our waiter was attentive and made perfect recommendations. We started with a burrata salad, bruschetta, and ravioli. I particularly enjoyed the linguine with clams as my main course, which was paired perfectly with a large bottle of wine. For dessert, we had an Aperol spritz and the cheesecake was the standout, although the tiramisu was not my favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant!

"We had a good experience, we went for my daughter and she adopted the experience! Our waitress seemed new, but sweet. I would recommend her listening a little more closely as we wanted to start with drink orders and rather than taking our order, she walked away to get everyone waters. She was really keen on wanting to tell us the history of the location and things in the tea house but I would recommend knowing more about the menu items and as she couldn't explain what was in their chicken salad. (Which kind of made me laugh as the menu was very descriptive of everything else. The chicken salad was good, the hot cocoa could have been more chocolatey. My son had the salmon entree while my daughter had the salmon sandwich and both enjoyed their meals. The soup of the day was a white chicken chili and it smelled amazing but it was a bit too salty for me. My son's girlfriend seemed to enjoy her bowl of it. My husband had the quiche and seemed to enjoy it as well as the pots of tea he shared with our daughter as well as the shared the tea sandwich platter for the table. The favorite for the family was the cherry almond scones. So my h so that my daughter got an order of them to go. However only two of the three were the flavor she ordered as they ran out, so she was stuck with a vanilla scone. She was slightly disappointed because she enjoyed the cherry almond so much but has yet to try the vanilla. The waitress heard we were celebrating a graduation, a birthday, and an anniversary so she was sweet to bring out some complimentary blueberry mini muffins, however the timing was off as three of the five family members had already departed as I waited for the check. It was a very sweet and appreciated gesture. The timing was just off. It was cool to learn that those employed at the tea room were all SCAD students. Overall it was a good experience. I felt it was a bit pricey and the service seemed slower than it should have been as they weren't busy. But my daughter had a wonderful experience and that was appreciated. The decor was beautiful and really neat to hear the history of."
