I really enjoy dining at this restaurant with my family on weekends for dinner. The food is absolutely wonderful!

The food was outstanding, but the service left much to be desired. I plan to return, hoping for a different server. It felt like they forgot about us after bringing out the meals.

We experienced some problems with our food, including finding hair in our dishes. The staff offered a resolution, but they need to be more careful with their attention to detail. On a positive note, the flavors were delicious. Overall, we would rate the food a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.

The Lingua tacos at this restaurant were among the best I've ever tasted, even better than some I've had in Mexico. I highly recommend them. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was consistently pleasant. I had a wonderful dinner experience. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20, and I would give both the food and service a perfect 5 out of 5. Be sure to try the tacos and nachos when you visit!

We placed an online order for the Hampstead location, but it was incorrectly sent to the Southport location. Both the Hampstead restaurant and I tried calling Southport to cancel the order, but the man who answered the phone was quite rude and refused to cancel it, insisting that it had already been processed. While the staff at the Hampstead location were very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us, our experience with the Southport location was disappointing. The prices at this restaurant are outrageous and the service is incredibly poor. Our experience mirrored that of a previous guest. Even with a small group of fewer than eight people, we waited 15-20 minutes for our drinks, which appeared to be taken from a pre-made mix. Many of the dishes we received were served cold. The waitress, who had short dark hair, automatically included an 18% tip on our bill, which put us in a position of feeling obliged to tip despite the unsatisfactory service. Even my wife was disappointed by the overall lack of attention. In summary, this restaurant is overpriced and the service is far from satisfactory.

Having recently moved to this town, my family and I made it a point to support local businesses by trying out some new restaurants. Unfortunately, we should have skipped this one. While the service was decent, the food was disappointing. After just one bite of the chicken mole, it was evident that it was inedible and it went straight to the trash. The salsa was too watery, and the chips were stale. The quesadilla was burnt and overall unappealing. To add to the experience, we had to clean the table and chairs ourselves since there was sauce on the table and chip crumbs on the chairs. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food was acceptable, but I found nothing authentically Mexican about this restaurant. They didn’t even have fresh salsa, and the server wasn’t familiar with it. To make matters worse, they also returned the wrong change. Despite these issues, I still left a $10 tip on my $28 bill because that was the change I received. I didn’t want to come off as rude since I understand the challenges of the service industry, but it’s clear they need to improve their staff. The server didn’t earn that $10 tip, but from what I observed, I doubt she’ll be around for long. As a former chef, I believe she would have been let go on her first day in a more skilled establishment. View menu
