The strawberry salad is too die for. Seriously, it is delicious!!! The BBQ pork sandwich is good, a bit messy and runny but very good.. Their coleslaw is very good, it's the creamy kind. I saw on the menu they have a handful of steaks.... I can't wait to go back to try them out.

Small unpretentious restaurant with excellent service. I had the chicken Lombardo, before 6pm with a free salad and dessert. Husband had the Monday night special sirloin steak and baked potato. There was enough of the salad that we shared it and the waitress brought out an extra plate for us as well. The food was DELICIOUS!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan to go back!

As a business, a quirky name is fine, especially when the food is this good! Initially, I was jokingly disappointed not to find any dog or cat on the menu (just kidding!). In all seriousness, the walleye is consistently excellent. I've visited several times, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. It has quickly become my favorite restaurant. Wanna know a secret… Mad Dog and Cats is a secret gem!! Stopped in a few months ago for a burger and beer and I t was great! FB kept making suggestions about his place and glad they did!! Today we enjoyed their $13.99 Sunday Special Chicken fried Chicken… F’ing Delicious!! Sorry but that adjective best describes the meal. Freshly hand breaded chicken cooked perfectly. Real mashed potatoes and a white gravy the cook should be proud of.. Try this place… you won’t be disappointed!! Ice cold Beer is served in a Cold glass… they do it right!! Anyway

My husband, myself and our 2 daughters came in here after looking at the reviews and online menu. May 17 around 6:30.. It was a seat yourself place, totally fine so we chose a corner booth. We ended up sitting there for 20 minutes with 3 parties coming in after us. All of them were acknowledged, given menus and waters. All while we still sat there and never were acknowledged at all. We ended up leaving at headed over to T. Arcobasso’s in the same plaza amazing service and food. Do better with your service please. We would have understood being busy, but not being addressed for 20 minutes is disappointing.
