"We visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch and absolutely loved it! Everything was delicious and fresh, and our waitress Shana was fantastic. This was the fourth restaurant we tried during our stay in Bayfield, and it was the only one that provided excellent service. If we weren't leaving the next day, we definitely would have eaten there again. My friend ordered the mushroom and cheese omelette, which was massive and fluffy. I had the grilled badger, a scrambled egg and ham breakfast sandwich on cranberry wild rice bread, served with a special sauce for dipping or spreading. We both had what they call toss potatoes, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked home fries. This was the best meal we had in Bayfield!"

I had chicken strips and French fries in the outdoor patio seating area. The ranch dressing for the chicken was excellent.

During my visit to Bayfield, I discovered a hidden gem that offers delicious pizza made fresh on-site. Be sure to try the must-have Lake Superior trout; it’s an absolute essential!

This evening, I visited the restaurant to order a 16-inch Mediterranean pizza as my starter. The waitress provided me with the bill, and I paid using my credit card. She confirmed that the transaction was successful. View menu

We stopped in to have dinner. Started off with an Ol’ Fashion cocktail for a drink and the fish sandwich fries for the main course. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It was not too busy and service was quick. Definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited this restaurant twice in one day. For lunch, we ordered burgers, and I have to say it was the best patty melt I've had in a long time! Later, we stopped by to pick up a pizza for dinner. My husband isn’t particularly a pizza fan, but he declared it the best he’s ever had. I definitely recommend this place!

The most inviting place I have ever been to! The food was phenomenal, the service was top notch! The best part was the owner Dilek, she is so kind and welcoming, friendly, and made sure we were always ok. Would recommend this restaurant above all in Bayfield ! The dessert we had was the Lemon Italian cream cake, you will want the whole cake after eating one piece. Parking: The restaurant is located on Manypenny Rd in Bayfield. In the summer you can eat outside All and all one of the best in Bayfield, Wisconsin!!

"This is probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Bayfield! For reference, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the Bayfield area over the years, and I have to say this was the nicest one yet. It is a little expensive, but in my opinion it was worth it! We booked one of the jacuzzi rooms for a weekend (which of course is more expensive than a regular one) and I am so glad we did. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and the room itself was comfortable. The staff were super nice and accommodating. Although we didn’t need anything during our stay, I’m positive it would have been taken care of for us. The parking is spacious and you get “permits” for your stay so that it ensures all customers get parking. It is in such a convenient location because everything is within walking distance. We were deciding between this one and another location and I am glad we chose this hotel because of it being so convenient to stay in the parking lot and just walk where we needed to go without stressing over parking. The only downside is that there is no continental breakfast. They do have the restaurant attached which we had dinner at and it was delicious. Also, they have vending machines where you can purchase snack. However, for the price we paid, I will say the main con I had here was not being able to have anything included for breakfast, even if it was something simple or some discount for purchasing a room at their hotel. Thankfully there are quite a few options to choose from for breakfast (including the attached restaurant), and I know there aren’t a whole lot of other hotels in Bayfield that actually provide breakfast either. So unfortunately this is something that is hard to come by in general if you want to stay in Bayfield (unless you go to the bed and breakfasts or stay in Ashland). Overall I am glad we came. I had a lot of fun and I would love to come back soon!"

"We were visiting the area (Mon-Tues) and needed a place to eat supper. We thought we were walking into The Pickled Herring but I think that's a lounge connected to the Pier Plaza restaurant. We entered from Front Street, the patio side but the hostess stand is on Rittenhouse. The place was full but we were sat quickly. Our waiter greeted us but said it'd be a little bit before he took our order, which was fine because we had to look over the menu. When he returned, I ordered Sharon's Favorite sandwich with homemade potato chips and my sister got the Beef and Portobella and Swiss burger. My chicken sandwich was good. You can't go wrong with guacamole and bacon. The homemade potato chips were eh. No seasoning. Just tasted like burnt potato chips. My sister said the mushroom burger was good (but Wahlburgers mushroom burger was better). She ordered fries though. They were crisp and golden brown, not much potato though. The best part of the meal was the dill pickle spear! It was juicy, crisp and packed a punch! Not all pickles do that (Jimmy John's comes close) and I'd consider this one of my favorites. The menu had Lake Superior fun facts so that was interesting to read while we were waiting for our food to come. We were two of the younger people here. It made me wonder who everyone was. Were they locals or retired folks weekday vacationing like us? Lots of white hair beards."
