"So tasty Our reviews had over 36 million views this year. wow UPDATE 8-18-2021: Once again perfection. Perfect in every way. Original review: One of the top restaurants in NYC. We go a few times a year and it never disappoints. We ask for a table in the rear which tend to be quieter. Be sure to get the Astice which is a lobster appetizer with burrata. It is divine. Even if you have never had octopus, I strongly recommend the appetizer or the pasta with octopus. This is one of their specialties and it is better than any other place in the world. The absolute best and tastes great even if you have never tried it before. We both had pasta for our main courses. All pasta is fresh made in house daily and are are beyond awesome. Two thumbs. up. For dessert I strongly recommend the ice cream square with chocolate dusting. Crazy good. Also check out the chocolate bar dessert (see photo I forget what it is called but it is great. This is certainly one of the top 5 places to eat in NY and probably in the top 3. You cannot go wrong here. Very hard to get a table so be sure to reserve well in advance. Once you have eaten here be sure to ask the General Manager to give you the secret (shhhhhhh!!!! link to get priority reservations. It is the key to getting a good table and is only available to past customers that the Manager likes. Worth it!!!!! Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 7 million views in 2021 and we thank you for that. We don 't get paid, we just love to eat. Be sure to click on RobH at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and shopping"

We enjoyed the best service ever. Our cocktails, seafood dishes and wine were excellent. I didn't care as much for the deconstructed dessert we shared. We are returning soon!

Loubna was a DREAM! She helped me decide which wine went with my meal and was so unbelievably patient. I’ll definitely come back because of her patience and knowledge. So grateful

Had the most beautiful dinner here with friends. They had run out of the main course I ordered so I ended up receiving complimentary mushroom risotto which the waiter merely overheard me debating getting it and then it just appeared. Also the playlist was on point for 80s classics by the end the night. Was convinced my dad was controlling it behind the bar or something View menu

Marea is an upmarket Italian restaurant near Columbus Circle in NYC. The menu is heavy on seafood. Marea used to be a Michelin-starred restaurant but has meanwhile (unfairly, imo been stripped of that award. Service is very attentive. If you’re visiting with kids be sure to ask for off-menu kids’ dishes. Pricing is consistent with top-end NYC places but not exorbitant by that measure. They offer prix fixe menus but most items come with steep surcharges (what’s the point of fixed price lunches when add on come with additional costs highet than the fixed price? . Regardless, Marea is my favorite place in Manhattan and I visit every time I am there.

Update: I am annoyed google doesn’t let people review this establishment more than once…but anyway whenever I am in need of a pick-me up and need a nice calm lunch I come here. I need to try and come here often as this is my favorite restaurant. I will definitely make it a habit of coming here on a Friday if not for lunch than for a drink on a Saturday night. As usual I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my favorite restaurant!!!! I had the oysters for starters. Some pasta and gelato for dessert! Service is always top notch only thing I would implement is a dress code. Patrons will enter in with booty shorts and very revealing clothing.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
