"I ordered the Ribeye, which came with a giant piece of fat right in the middle of the steak. My mom, who hasn't been out to dinner in almost a year ordered the Prosciutto wrapped Jumbo Prawns and they tasted like fish. I told the waitress about my steak and she took it off the bill. When I teased my mom about the prawns tasting fishy, I then tried them. They were terrible. We had already complained and we didn't want to any more. We paid for her meal and her drink and will not be back"

This is a really good restaurant. Love sitting in the bar. Wide ranging menu. We'll go back when we are in Auburn. One note: The did not have our reservation made thru Open Table. Wasn't a problem, but they didn't have it

I had family coming from Oregon on the way to Woodland for a quick visit and good meal. We were all so happy with everything about our experience at Max's, the service by waiter Dave was absolutely the best, the food was delicious and best of all we were able to have a great visit as the noise level was a nonissue. I highly recommend trying out Max's Restaurant if you're in Auburn
