"I've been here at least 20 times and I always felt that it was enjoyable but today will be the last time I'm there. The server was only concerned about reading her paper. She was not pleasant at all today from the second I walked in. I ordered a hamburger medium. It comes out half raw. I asked her to please put it back on the grill. She went in the back and came out about a minute later, and the burger was sizzling hot on both sides and the meat was still wrong. I've been a chef my whole life I know all the tricks of the trade and I knew that they put it in the microwave the edges were hard. I asked her and she blatantly told me a fib (she stayed in the kitchen and waited for it. I knew she saw exactly what happened. She said no they didn't and began to argue with me about what happens to burgers if you put them in a microwave but of course I know they did because I know exactly what happens to burgers when you put them in the microwave. I've been in the kitchen well over 20 years I know a little something. Anyways, it doesn't matter. I'll never go back again just my experience."

This place is really charming! I only tried the cider, which was delicious, and the server was excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and not too noisy, plus the decor is lovely. I do wish they had some vegan options, though. I definitely recommend stopping by! View menu

We visited McGonigal's to watch Irish singers Colm and Laura Keegan. Since we arrived early, we decided to have dinner at the pub. I ordered the pot roast, which was excellent and filled with generous portions of meat. My husband had the fish and chips, and he enjoyed his meal as well. The show was also very entertaining!

The cheeseburgers were delicious, especially with the Thousand Island dressing. The fries were great too, and the variety of music added to the fun atmosphere! My only wish is that they would clean up the place a bit. The tables need a good wash with soap, and the windows and floors really need some attention. Overall, it definitely needs a good cleaning!
