"I am sorry to say that I cannot comment on the quality of the food or the service at this restaurant. We arrived at 6:15 for a reservation at 6:30, but were told by the young host that our table was not ready. We decided to wait, as we knew we were early. Another couple arrived and were seated immediately, so I assumed they also had a reservation. However, at exactly 6:30, another couple arrived early for their 7:00 reservation and were seated right away while we continued to wait. When I mentioned our 6:30 reservation, the host brushed us off and said our table was next. Feeling unwelcome, we decided to leave. It was a disappointing experience, especially since it was Valentine's Day and too late to find another reservation. I hesitated to write this review since we never got to try the food, but hopefully the restaurant can learn from this and improve their services for future guests."

When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. It would have been considerate if they had informed their reserved customers about this. Despite understanding the challenges they may be facing, a simple phone call could have saved us the trip. I am a fan of McQuade's, but their behavior last Friday was disappointing. I would still suggest this place to my friends, but with a warning.

I order their Mushroom Swiss burger w/fries on the side.First time there and their burger and fries were amazing!! I did double stack beef patties (it was thick but delicious). Their fries were crunchy and flavorful! Usually fries I’ve had were either too soggy or too salty. But not McQuade’s. First time here. My partner and I sat at the bar and a gentleman came and gave us menus and never came back. We waited over 10 mins and he and another girl came and went with no acknowledgement. We where the only ones there at the bar as well. We waited a while more and still no service. We walked out a d went to Black Woods grill down the street and we're greeted with smiles and service right away. I will not be going back to McQuades and wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped by for a quick snack before heading to the grocery store because we all know how it goes when you're hungry. We shared the MAC Fries and will definitely be stopping in for them again. The cheese sauce was delicious and the perfect ratio to the crispy fries and smash patty. We appreciated that the onions were fresh, but wished there were a few more pickles. The sesame garnish was a nice touch. It was so delicious that I almost licked the bowl before remembering to take a picture. ;)
