"I just read a recent review that mentioned how server Shelley 's customer service was impeccable. This is VERY interesting as my friends and I did NOT have the same experience with Shelley being our server. My friends and I came in for a 7:30pm reservation last Saturday 6/18. The host was great and we mentioned that they reserved us the best table since we were celebrating a birthday. The table had a fire pit in the middle and fit our party of 7 comfortably. Shelley definitely knew the menu and explained it well, and happily turned on the fire for us. But, the moment we smelled propane and asked her if she could fix the fire for us because the smell was too strong, that 's when her bad attitude made an appearance. My friend and I left to the bathroom and came back asking our group if they had ordered drinks, they say not yet, and Shelley, verbatim said, well, not to be rude, but I came back ready to take your order and you asked me to get something..... so...... Our drinks took forever and we also noticed that our pizza never came out and had to ask the busser to check on it since Shelley didn 't come by to ask us how we were doing. He was SO sweet and went to check on it, told us it would be out soon, and brought it out to us. Not once did Shelly come out and apologize or acknowledge that she forgot to put in our order (we ordered 10 things and she didn 't write a thing down). And the one time that she did come by, she only directed the, how 's your food? To ONE person at our table. Yeah, the food is good and ambiance was cute, it 's definitely a good date night spot. Next time I come here I definitely will be requesting for Shelley to NOT be my server."

Yes, pizza is good, wood oven cooked. But I can't get used to paying $20+ for a simple pizza with no fancy ingredients.

I guess my question is, if my pizza hadn't been delivered, would you have served a half scorched meal in restaurant? I seriously doubt it. The non burnt to a crisp portion was delicious, but you know you shouldn't have sent this out.

the personal went out of the way to process my last minute order for 20 hungry basketball players. the service was incredible, worte can not express how amazing it was. I also felt appreciated. the young have brought the food! many thanks! if they are in downtown long beach, they must have this restaurant. View menu

the staff was very friendly within 5 minutes space. saw out tents to cover for the sun. eating came out quite quickly and the waitress was attentive to know the menu and to give recommendations. the pizza was really good, it was crispy, and pasta said my friend was good for price and taste. overall it would come back.

let me prevent this by saying that I am only for the coffee I have lived so close and have not been there for food yet, but they have just started serving coffee and I have gone down here today and I have to say I will definitely go back and the service is delicious! there were two people on the front and immediately I have been laughing and so a happy ton, so that they were very welcome tomorrow! I'm gonna have to go to dinner sometime now?

This is one of my top fav spots in LBC, love to bring my friends here. The food is fantastic and service always great, with homey atmosphere. Chef Giuseppe not only creates delish dishes and pizzas, you might wanna try the burger too, it's absolutely fantastic! Their new cafe just opened with yum coffee and super tasty pastries. The outdoor patio is fully covered in shade and dog friendly, with additional court side seating with umbrellas. Cheers! View menu

Great experience had by all during a lovely Saturday night dinner with friends! Tight indoor space with more outdoor space to enjoy! If interested in watching the chefs make pizza, you can pony up to the bar. The food is authentic and spot on. We enjoy an appetizer with artichoke, burrata and pear. The combination may sound weird, but taste perfect together. We then had a selection of pizzas and pasta. When ordering pizzas , they will ask if you want it cut. They say it better to not cut it, not sure why, but the pizzas were quite good. The ravioli was wonderful: not your everyday ravioli in squares! The texture was soft and delicate with good filings! Highly recommend this place! Make a res...

we had so great hopes for this place. It is terrible that our experience did not live on the hype. we start with the positive, it was clean, loved the open kitchen concept, personal was friendly and how can they not love homemade pasta. our salat (spinchwassermelone) and appetizer (pear, burrata, prosciutto) were incredible. so you could imagine the excitement for the main course. here it is where there is a wrong curve. on the first sight the presentation was promising. but the actual eating was completely tasteless. the bolognese tasted like air. and the wood fire pizza was so wet and flimsy that when I took a piece, all the hits just slipped off. the undercarriage of the pizza looked and...
