"Went to the JW Marriott this past weekend and decided to try Mikado for dinner. Our year old loves to watch the hibachi chefs do their show. We ordered a Dragon Roll as an appetizer and it was really good. My son had two bowls of miso soup. and my salad was good. I really liked the dressing on it. For dinner we had filet and lobster and both were delicious! the fried rice was very good as well. Our chef even asked if anyone wanted theirs spicy and added a kick to it for those who wanted. The only things I wasn't a fan of were the sprouts and the veggies that come with the meal. I wish they offered noodles instead. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go back"

Good experience but only negative is the amount of food too much and I eat a lot!!! Don’t ruin the experience by over ordering!! View menu

Great food; drinks a bit pricey as is the food. Well cooked meal-good atmosphere, Very Noisy, but typical for this type of dining… had a reservation, showed up about minutes early and we were seated right on time

We had a good time. We were seated quickly with our reservation. Our chef was amazing. Great food and engaging entertainment. The only thing is we told them our group had birthdays. They forgot. We had to wait a long time for our birthday song and cake View menu

the food was bland and not seasoned. Usually with these grills, garlic butter is used on garnel, but not here. they were tasteless. steak had nothing, not even salt and pepper. the griller was not entertaining and the sweats were the same as told by the griller behind us. all for at least $50 per person. I would not recommend this place.

Overall nice and friendly staff/ people that shared the tables were very nice/ Hostess Irene I think and Chef Mark were outstanding….greeters at the door could be a little more friendly and less attention to iPhones also explained the seating and wait process instead of telling you they will call you in minutes which becomes w others being say before you until you walk up and say something. Other than that the food was tasty and fresh and large portions

"Wow! What a gem. We stopped here for dinner and dessert and just had to come back for breakfast, and everything was exceptional. The soft serve ice cream (made with oat milk) that they have is my favorite vegan ice cream that I have ever had. It's amazing. They have shaded and comfy outdoor seating. For dinner we had the chili soup, some garlic bread, the Guadalajara burger, and the Chupacabra Chic'n sandwich. Everything was super full of flavor and delicious. For desert, we got an ice cream to split and a slice of chocolate cake. The ice cream was absolutely wonderful. The cake was the weakest point of the meal, a little dry. But, it was still tasty. We knew during dinner that we just had to come back for breakfast (and more ice cream). We ordered a bagel sandwich and a tostada. My partner loved his sandwich. He gave me a piece of the tofu on it, and I normally don't like tofu that isn't very crispy, but was super tasty and flavorful. My tostada had a bunch of guac on it (not just a tiny scoop like some places do), and the flavors of the beans and guac were rich. The jalapeños added a nice kick (although, I'm sure you could get it without them if you don't like spicy). The ice cream was, again, amazing. I also got an agua fresca that was really pleasant on the hot morning. The staff members were very nice, were happy to answer any of our questions, and were generally quite helpful. 10/10"
