"Nosh is an absolute must-visit when in the Winona area.I frequent this spot for a number of reasons: high-quality and prompt service, absolutely DELICIOUS food (thanks Chef Greg a creative drink list, and a menu that is updated on an almost-daily basis. I’m not sure how I haven’t left a review for this fine establishment before, but I do know why I chose to leave one now.I realized today that I forgot to make a dinner reservation for a fairly sizable party earlier this week. It was a definite “oh no” kind of moment. Nosh doesn’t open until 4PM, so I knew that my chances of creating this reservation were pretty much 0% at this point. I decided to try a last ditch effort and fill out a question form on their website requesting a last-minute reservation. I had a response no more than two hours later still HOURS before they open mind you and was told that my reservation was made. Like I said before, the service is both high-quality and prompt.An 11/10 restaurant. Stepping into Nosh feels like stepping into a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. Not the most budget-friendly destination, but you get what you pay for.For the not-so-faint-hearted: try the spicy wings if they’re still on the menu when you go. You will definitely (probably) not regret it."

Wish they didn't advertise as a public play house. The radio turns it around and makes it seem like it's a tool....good food, great chef, could cool atmosphere, really really bad marketing

A great experience overall. The food was excellent quality, and the service was professional and attentive throughout the visit. The walleye had great flavor and I would definitely order it again.

It was super busy but the place was good still. The drinks, food and dessert was all super tasty. Shout out to Emily for being a great server. The back room was nice because it was easier to talk to our group.

Me and my boyfriend ate here last night during a stop on our road trip. It was a cute little place and our server was very sweet and attentive. The starter soup and salad we got were both really good. However, for dinner we got both of the specials to share. It was a Pit Beef sandwich and Short rib entree. Most of the meat in the sandwich was so fatty that you couldn't even tear a bite off or chew it. And the short rib entree had great flavor but was tough and had to cut with a knife. We LOVE shortribs and get them from so many restaurants! They are supposed to shred apart so easily when they are tender and cooked right. And this was just not cooked correctly. Hopefully they improve on these...

My wife and I had a lovely meal at Nosh, highly recommended. They take reservations (recommended), but hold some tables for walk-ins and they serve food at the bar; so you have options. The timing of the service feels more European than American; in that the courses are served a bit languidly and the time of a meal with salad and appetizers will be over 90 minutes. We prefer timing like this. We ordered 3 courses and split each. Each course came out plated for 2 with no plating charge. Appreciated. The food was excellent.
