"Came here for a maine a few weeks ago for my people (who have now moved to Florida) and forget to add a review as better late as never! They took my father and gave him a comfortable chair, as he had some problems sitting on harder surfaces (we were outside). Despite a waiting period, we had a pretty decent experience. My mother and I shared the steamers (both agreed that these were some of the best we had), not gritty or sandy at all and perfectly cooked. My father had the lobster pot he liked. My first lobster role of my fiancée was well enjoyed along with a Cheeseburger (only in case he didn't care about the lobster). Both my mother and I have the lobster role. I noticed in some reviews how a few people complained about the lobster roll only come with pimples and chips, it's just my humble opinion (and all my opinions are humble), I find when a place makes a good enough lobster roll, you don't need much more. Really! If the meat is cooked perfectly and it is not dosed in Mayo when the role holds, if every bite has the same ratio of lobster and bread, I will be a happy camper. Everything else is just a cherry. Relatively, it is even cheaper than Reds or even Robert's Maine Grill. After working on the latter for two summers and having made easy over a hundred lobster rolls in my position, I found their perfectly full of meat, simply enough Mayo, and the small **** of paprika on the top reminded me of the roles I enjoyed when visiting the downeast. The role itself was perfectly throttled and locked, as we know, there is nothing worse than a soggy role! We shared blueberry and apple cake for dessert that is homemade, and you can really say the difference when something is bought in/if it is not. I will say their blueberry cake is worth trying and getting it with a vanilla shovel is so happy at the end of a meal! Overall, this was a pretty good experience. Our server was friendly enough and we have our food without any problems. I think I could try a real lobster dinner next time. It's cash just so make sure you're prepared (you only have an ATM if you forget)."

Very good. The atmosphere is very good and they offer excellent specialties. We just wanted to get those one lobster meal, but for just a few more dollars we could buy the two lobsters. There is not much for pages.

Fun experience. Excellent lobster but best when hard shells available. Ask! Rustic, lobster in the rough. Very good prices since lobsters are caught by the family. A long time tradition in Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise area. Very pleasant service.

Great place for Lobster! They don?t take reservations, first come, first served. I warn you the line is long and the wait is 30 to 40 minutes, it?s definitely worth the wait. The day we were there, the special was 2 lobsters for $35.00. Great blueberry cobbler. Highly recommended!

No nonsense. These prices and quality are amaze balls. We just came from Bar Harbor, so that is some perspective, but in that light, . 22 or 23 bucks for a lobstah roll where it was like 39 in bah habah... enough said. The Chowder was delicious. Lots of clams no sand), savory broth, tender potatoes. I added a little ground pepper and loved it even more The lobster roll was full of firm meat, and my wife, who is a bread aficionado, loved the thick butter-toasted bread.

This was a really cool experience, especially if you're looking for something to do that is uniquely Maine. If you're looking for lobster, this is the place to go. My girlfriend got the lobster roll and loved it. I ended up getting a grilled chicken sandwich (I don't eat much seafood) and it was meh. But based on all the excited people eating lobster, I can highly recommend Nunan's for that! Oh, and just a note: they're cash only, so keep that in mind. Service: Dine in View menu

Lobster was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and prepared to be so easy to eat! Hubby got the lobster stew and lobster roll. The stew was packed full of lobster, but the roll could have had a better bread to lobster ratio. Finished off with the homemade blueberry pie. Neither of us are pie people, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was very patient and kind as my brain was starting to fade. They were also very respectful of my assistance dog. Very glad we wound up here for dinner!

When you get back, do it. If you are in Kennebunkport, visit it. More cheap, from the boat to your plate, this is a family business that returns to the community. It is like 10 minutes away from Kennebunkport and it is absolutely worth it. Immediately fell for the charm! Cash only 2 lobsters, 2 appetizers, 2 glass of wine and top 20% came to 120$. Oh, yeah! And a brownie for the lady. (Biiig Brownie 2$ ish) We found it by chatting with locals (like: where to go for lobster on a regular night outside)

"Our visit to Ocean was sadly a disappointment. Positives: View was beautiful and the service was attentive. Food was plated beautifully. Our waitress noticed that our food took forever to arrive and offered to buy us a drink (we declined as we had to drive, but did notice that she didn't even end up comping the one drink we did order at the beginning of the evening). Negatives: Food was obscenely overpriced and unbelievably bland. I got the asparagus and lobster salad for my first course and it had absolutely zero flavor and maybe 1 ounce total of lobster. Entree selections were limited and bizarre for Maine in the summer. Very little local fresh seafood but instead lamb? I actually got the lamb but the meat, carrots and polenta were all cold upon arrival to my table. I would've sent it back but by that point it was 10:00 (we were seated at 8:00) and I just wanted to get out of there. Beyond that, the lamb was utterly tasteless. My husband's cod was also undercooked and not at all seasoned. Everything we had not only lacked flavor but lacked any sort of texture or contrast. I would've been upset at the food even if the meal had been reasonably priced. However, at well over $100 a person, one should be able to expect food that is far more than mediocre. I would recommend this place only for drinks on the deck. Or I would recommend if you are both flush with cash and terrified of anything that has flavor."
