"Wife and I went there for our 39th anniversary dinner. I made reservations using the app OpenTable and I inputted that it was an anniversary dinner. We got there as they opened up and they set us in the bar area at a standard table. No booth for us. Was disappointed with that but not a big deal. Steaks were really exceptional. Definitely the highlight of our dinner. The House potato side is a different spin of potato accompaniment. It’s covered with cheese sauce and is actually pretty good but you only get 1, it’s slightly bigger than of a golf ball. The salad bar is decent, an old school salad bar with an assortment of toppings offered. The dinner rolls along with a couple cinnamon rolls was really weird. What’s with the cinnamon rolls? They are cheap packaged cinnamon rolls. Our shrimp appetizer was very good but $16 for 5 large sized shrimp? Come on! The place could benefit from a makeover as it’s interior is a bit dated. Overall a good dinner."

Went here for my birthday. In town visiting. Food and service was great! My prime rib was cooked to perfection! Salad bar was great and the waiter was good. Great atmosphere.

Nice ambience and menu looked solid. My friend and I came in for a drink at 9:30 or so. The bar was emptying out but the bar man told us we had a 30min time limit because we didn’t order food! I’ve never seen that at a bar before. He seemed more focused on catering to his friends. Won’t be coming back.

Before we even got a chance to sit down, the bartender informed us we would only have 1hr 15min to eat and drink because the seats were already reserved. Why did we get sat there then?! Our reservation was set for 8p. We were promptly seated when we arrived. The service was impeccable. I ordered the Steak Ore House (loin wrapped in bacon topped with crab). This place was great! Our server,Lindsey S, was so nice and was very understanding about our complete grump of a two year old. My husband ordered the Elk and I had the Ore house chicken. Both meals were great and the lingonberry sauce with the elk was very delicious. Even when my kiddos made a mess out of the rice in the floor, the gentleman said it was okay and not to worry about it. Finally, the overall ambiance was quaint and welcoming and the host stand were so kind in letting us explore the upstairs when my girls asked.
