"Totally new decor which at first seems bright and open. But it turns out the brightness lends itself more to a cafeteria diner than the cozy restaurant it used to be. And my absolutely favorite dish the beef gyro was completely ruined! It's supposed to be a rolled pita smothered with the yummy tsaziki sauce. Instead it was flat with about a tsp of the sauce with some of the beef and a few tomatoes and lettuce. Uh, no lettuce on a gyro. When I asked for more sauce, the server brought a teeny little plastic cup. The calamari was soggy. The meals also took forever. Not the Panos we knew and loved."

We had to wait 30 mins even with a reservation and then was told the kitchen was backed up and we had to wait another 30 minutes to even order. Service was slow and everyone who worked there seemed lost. The remodel is beautiful and the food was good but service was lacking

we have been coming to pano for almost 20 years and were excited that it was finally reopened. eating was not good at all. I have the medium sea plate and there was nothing medium. it was listed as gluten free and the waiter said they only get the brot. the plate had half a glass of plastered articock hearts, a dry salate and no dressing, hummus, which was much too thick and a few other rugged koks. in a word it was terrible. my friends weren't happy with their men. everything in all it was very disappointing and we will not be back. We were there for over 2 hours, it took me 40 minutes to get my drink and an hour and a half to get food. The waitress we had had an excuse for everything; first the coffee wasn’t brewed, then the food was cooked wrong and had to be redone, then the computer wasn’t working so we had to wait to get a paper check. All of the other people in the restaurant were getting their food way quicker and people who arrived significantly later than us left before we did... food tasted amazing and wasn’t expensive and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Just bad service.

The portions were ENORMOUS! I had the Swiss and egg omelette with marbled rye and home fries and it was delicious. Loved all the new decor and how bright it is inside. The new bar and open kitchen concept really bring Pano’s to the new century without losing what it does best-great food. The staff were attentive and quick and we were in and out for breakfast in under an hour and half and I had a 3 year old toddler in tow! Can’t say enough about the facelift on this place and love that it is still great food and an awesome vibe. Can’t wait to return to try the crab cakes Benedict!
