"No one goes to a cafeteria style BBQ for a fine, craft BBQ experience. They come to get a good, cheap meal. This checks both of those boxes. I wanted to try their pork ribs and brisket, but nothing on the menu could line those up. So I went with the 3 beef plate and asked if I could swap the beef rib for a pork one. Nope. Then when I went to pick it up they told me they were out of beef sausage, would I like a pork sausage? Wait a minute, we can switch items if you want but not if I want?? I went with it. Again, I didn 't have high hopes. The brisket was ok. Not sure if there 's any wood smoke going on for very long, but with the right amount of sauce, I got it down. The beef rib was a definite let down. It was so chewy I thought I was given a dog bone. In fact, I should have saved it for mine. The pork sausage was good and tasty. The green beans looked good but I think room temperature was warmer so I don 't think it was put under the heat lamp for long. The creamed corn was a definite pass. I always said that I never met a creamed corn I didn 't like. That 's now off of my quote list . Inside was very clean and well organized. If you want protein quick and relatively cheap, it 's not too bad."

This place is not good and very expensive. They don't even cook the meat right. And it's very hard and chewy. Stay away I'm saving you money and time

Everything so dry, especially briskets. It was hard for me to finish one slice. Ribs are just edible, pulled pork and potato salads were the best thing they had. Nothing was hot. View menu

Well i ordered in the phone the loaded baked potato. I called and ordered on the phone, they will send you a text about your order and when it will be ready for pick up. I parked, i send them my lot number and they brought the food out. It didn't take time. The baked potato was really good. I enjoyed it.

Ok bbq. Way overpriced. Been eating here for a couple years, recently they reduced the amount of meat and sauce and increased the price on the sandwich. That sandwich and drink pictured is over $18 dollars. I always felt a little ripped off but now it’s a total rip off. Your better off driving 5-10 minutes in any direction for better bbq. Today was my last visit.

It’s been two years since my last visit, and I’m unsure what to make of my experience. The yams and mac and cheese were excellent during my previous visit, but today they missed the mark. The mac and cheese resembled a soupy Velveeta rather than a proper dish, and my yams were undercooked in the middle. On the positive side, the brisket was tender and well-prepared. I should have suspected something was off when I noticed the change in the clientele and the staff. Unfortunately, my meal did not live up to the fond memories I had of this place. This restaurant used to serve delicious potatoes and burgers at reasonable prices, but what has happened? I paid $16 for a BBQ baked potato, and it was disappointing in both quantity and quality. The meat was tough and fatty with no flavor. On that day, there was no topping bar available, which was another letdown. With places like Hard 8, Marshalls, and numerous other BBQ spots offering better food and prices, I can't justify coming back here. I understand that inflation is a factor, but charging $16 for such a small and bland stuffed potato feels like price gouging.

For the cattle ribs. I was disappointed, ribs with little to no meat and cold. 20 minutes after our meat waiting for sweet potatoes. 15 minutes waiting for fish sandwich. Maybe the drive would have been better? I chose this place because I thought it was just as good as the Cedar Hill location. It was 15 minutes from where we were originally. I'm staying with Cedar Hill? The baked potato and green salad was good. Presentation of vegetables not appealing. After visiting the server, mixing and stirring the Slav and cucumber salad with their hands on gloves and no utensils? I think that's a pretty good time after that.
