"My family and I moved to the bad axe area about a year ago and we've tried just about every restaurant in the area. Needless to say this is the first review I've felt compelled to write (good or bad). I heard from a few people that this place was not worth the money, however, this is a definite understatement. 1 out of the 5 entrees we had was descent, everything else was sub par at best. I ordered the steak sandwich that was supposed to be prepared with sliced sirloin steak, however, it was definitely roast beef (good, but definitely not a sliced sirloin steak as the menu described and most likely gordon food purchased). My wife ordered a filet medium rare and it came out after the rest of the food hit the table. It did not have any grill/searing marks on it as my mother in laws NY strip did, and tasted like the cook likely microwaved it (tough, not juicy, as a medium rare filet should be). My sons burger was terrible, appeared to be a pre-pattied burger not fresh, and my other son's chicken fingers were definitely a frozen brand, edible but nothing special. The steak fries the boys both received were inedible, they were definitely a store bought fry and I believe they were microwaved or not fried long enough because they were still cold in the middle. Our server was very nice, but not knowledgeable at all about the drink menu, she was 17 and could not make any drink recommendations. The atmosphere of this place is nice, but clearly there is no active management overseeing the operation. Service and food quality control are non-existent. I understand that all restaurants have off nights, but this place had major breakdowns on all aspects of their business. Definitely not a 4.2 restaurant as it states on Google reviews."
