The food was not one of the best if not the best seafood I ever had when considering the portion sizes, the diving sauce selection, the crumbness of the fried dough. The presentation of the steamed/broiled food in the paper containers leaves something to be desired, but I would definitely see everything in everything in the future. It just happened in this place because BG was closed for the season. Well, what was ordered: 1. fried Calamari it didn't need the sauce at all. Soft, not rubbery, tasteful and well cooked. 2. Sweet potato fries huge portion. large texture 3. Coconut shrimps talk about Jumbo shrimps! the Mango Chutney sauce that came with him was the cherry up. I would have a second help for the road 4. Broken fish with rice pilaf my order came wrong, but the manager was quick to correct 5. Shrimp scampi with garlic bread, rice pilaf and Koleslaw It is great that they have a curly menu as well as the fried menu. Good variety and options."

My friend heard about this place so we decided to stop here after our hike. The food is awesome, I got the sea scallops and belly clams they were tasty and practically melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this place. View menu

Ice cold beer, hot fried fresh seafood, over stuffed lobster rolls and super fast friendly service. One of the best for a classic fried plate! The chowder is very good, but if you don't have room in your belly or your budget skip it.

Food was amazing, literally couldn't stop eating my wife's lobster bisque. Haddock and whole clams were top notch. Coleslaw was great, and I'm critical of most coleslaws. Fries were good as well. Nothing but praise for this establishment. Exceptional service all around.

Loved the atmosphere the food. The prices were appropriate for the portions. We sat at the bar and had great service from Shana. My husband and I shared the Jumbo lobster roll and the fried oyster basket. Perhaps the best fried oysters of us have ever had a very tasty lobster roll. View menu

I would recommend it to Petey if you were in the area. We both got the lobster that was a fun experience, though expensive. The atmosphere is typical restaurant by the sea and the staff is really friendly. Most of the menu is cheap, but the lobster will obviously be quite steep. If you've never eaten lobsters, they have great table sets with instructions. That was very helpful for us beginners.

Petey's on the ocean boulevard is a place for locals. We were lucky to find a last place. The seafood place that is open whenever you need it. They do not take a winter break, we have eaten tasty lobster rolls and various seafood dishes in February. There is a parking lot with enough space. Service personnel are humble and very human. Is a good stop when you drive to Maine or the mountains of Vermont.
